You know you have to put it on just once and have a picture taken, just so your nephew can see that you wore it. Sounds simply divine, dahling!

D&D Dragonshard RTS game, Best Buy Gift Card, 20" flat screen color TV to watch while working out on my Treadmill of Woe, Turtleneck shirts, Isotoner leather gloves.

My enjoyment for today was the surprised look on my wife's face when she got her new Dell XPS 6 Desktop with 20" wide screen monitor. She also got an Ipod and some other great stuff.

Needless to say, after watching her play WoW on the new pc with that monitor I've decided this will not do..no, not do at all.

I placed an order for one of those monitors for me today. Smiley: yippee

I got a guitar case and a new cell phone. And boxers. I get those every year.

Which version of the DMB set did you get, Ky? The "Best of the Weekend" or the full concerts plus DVD? I wouldn't mind the latter, as I've heard that the song selection on the former is pretty weak sauce.

My bf got me a Fountain Jet home soda maker for Christmas. I saw it and thought, "WTF?!", but it's actually not bad.

I am going to make him get me an external hard drive or a network storage thing though.

Got yoga clothes, pajamas, Shakira's new CD, Alicia Keyes Unplugged CD, lots of drawings and little toys my kids made for me, and the 10th Season of Friends on DVD (the very present I asked for to which my husband called "weak" but loves me enough to still get it.)

Kids have all said they're happy with everything they got, particularly the Robosapiens and the i-Dog.

Turkey's in the oven, ham will go next, got the fixings for the mashed potatoes, stuffing, and yams ready. And I'm going to TRY to make fresh cranberry sauce. Wish me luck on that.

**** for Christmas? That's.. wierd. You opened it in front of all your relatives? ...

First off..it was in the stocking

Second..Relatives don't come till tonight for supper

Third..probably was given as a joke because I turned 18 this year and recently voiced my hatred for Archie Comics(which was what used to be in the stocking).

Also, is it bad that I'm already a little drunk at 4:00 in the afternoon?

Finally he got up!

Now I'm licking the wounds on my hands from opening those god damn parent proof toy twist ties and plastic thingers. This one play food thing had everything wrapped in plastic and I'm actually bleeding on my right hand from opening it. *whine*

I got some great gifts, though. A Calphalon everyday pan, Indiana Jones DVD set, scrapbooking software, Adobe Elements and Premiere from hubby (YaY now I can update allas again!), and cookie cutters. Hubby got Battlestar Galactica miniseries and Season 1, so those are kinda for me too.

Shout Elmo totally bombed with baby girl. She's freaked out by him and starts whimpering when he starts singing. Plus, he totally sucks. He falls over and only sings like a 10 second song. Booo!

Not a single gift this year. Not a damn one.

But I did get tons of money, so it's all good.

Merry Christmas bastards.

It's a two CD set called "Listener Supported". It's a bunch of live cuts from different concerts. I put it on my list after I heard DM do a rendition of "Long Black Veil" on a concert I was watching one night.

I've only listened to one of the two disks but I like it - lots. His last CD, Stand Up, seemed rushed and pretty unimaginative. A big disappointment.

I got a Bose Sound Dock for my iPod, a bass guitar and amp, a $2 lottery card that I didn't win anything from, a 256MB USB Flash Drive, a ski hat, Spook by Mary Roach and we're not quite finished yet. I'm still hoping for a 1-year subsription to www.gamefly.com.

Don't Bass guitars have 4 strings? That is obviously a normal everyday Electric Guitar.
