So I moved into a new home yesterday. Last night while bringing in the last few bags, my wife and I hear a woman begin screaming like she's being killed. Needless to say it scared the hell out of both of us. At this point we hear a man start yelling too. We cant make out what he's saying and we figure he's either one, beating the **** out of her, two, raping her, or God knows what.
So I call the police. I guess things were slow that night because the cops were there in about 5 minutes. Anyhow, when they get out of their cars, they hear the same screaming and yelling we do and immediately enter the house.
About ten minutes later they come over to our place laughing. Apparently our neighbors are both deaf and when they get mad they start screaming(they have both been deaf since birth and cant form actual words, which is why we couldnt understand what was said). Anyhow I felt like a ******* idiot and I'm sure made a great impression on our neighbors. Today I can laugh about it. I felt like an *** last night. Just thought I'd share my idiocy.

Don't feel bad, you did the right thing, and you now have a good story to tell. However you probably won't be able to tell when they really are beating the **** out of each other, so you probably won't call the cops again, and it'll be your fault when one of them dies.

I moved into a shady apartment building when i first started university cause it was extremely close to campus and cheap cheap cheap but it was shady shady.
How shady you want to ask, when i moved in there was bloody hand print out side my door, i was going to wash it off but then i realized no one is going to mess with guy that has bloody hand print on door so i left it. ( i moved out quickly and im now in swank apartment buidling full of hot university girls).
Anyways i was sitting in there one nite reading up on the finer points of Potassium-Argon dating for Archaeology and i hear this guy and girl start having an argument in the hall, and they are going all out. I really couldnt care but then i hear punches being thrown and some scuffling and someone crying. Well im a big guy, 6'4 215lbs and im a little old fashion so i run out into hall to stop girl from getting beaten up, except when i run out into hall i find its two kids about 17-18 and its the girl that is beating guy up, and he was crying. I laughed gave her thumbs up, they broke it up and i chuckled all nite long.
