The fact that President's need a speech writer is simply appalling to me.

I know I know.. it's the norm... but ****.. that's waht it is, ****.

I mean seriously.. IS the President nothing more than a talking figure-head? I'd lke to see another President start writing his own speeches and Prove that he/she knows wha they're ******* talking about.

Speech writers.... [b]*************

I'm not fretting over Clinton much, but it is the Democrats hovering over Bush because he has morals. Clinton was supposedly one of the best Democratic Presidents, if that is the standard that the Democrats want then that is what your party and those that think like you will be assessed against.

What I did was compared Kerry's speaking style to that of Bush's. The two candidates have similiar "issues". Neither can ride a bike with our falling off and niether can speak in an acceptible manner to other parties satisfaction.

If the liberals of this board really want to shut up the conservatives then show me a Bush policy, what is wrong with it and then show me how Kerry and the liberals are going to fix it.

Don't ***** about something without coming up with a solution.

Really the man had no choice, unless you think abdicating to Cheney was one, as for the balls to do it: What exactly has he done to lead the country, after 9/11, beyond invading a few countries? Ok, he had the balls to tell us WMD was a good reason to invade Iraq and he has had the balls to forget about Bin-laden after he was told the guy was going to be beyond a ***** to ever get but what exactly has he done that has been so ****** great otherwise?!

The difference being that Bush is trying to impose his Born Again Fundamental Christian morality upon the nation through things like Constitutional amendments and Clinton wasn't. I'd rather have an "immoral" president getting a ******** that has nothing to do with how the nation is run (aside from when the Republiancs decide to tie up the government making a witch hunt out of it) than a "moral" one deciding that the Bible needs to be the nation's law and crying when a judge disagrees.

Following the majority doesn't make it right.

Of course I could make a comparison that would bring Godwin's Law crashing down upon this thread.

Godwin's Law prov. [Usenet] "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Morans or Post Count approaches one." There is a tradition in many groups that, once this occurs, that thread is over, and whoever mentioned Morans has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful.

Your all Morans.

Funny you should ask. It was the very same assumption I made about your posting location.

Talk about a kooky coincidence!
