Smiley: laugh I never claimed to be a good girl!

Or a smart one!

I have no preference, really, as long as whatever comes out is healthy and happy.

So, give me the straight goods, Joph, can I kiss my freedom, individuality and sanity goodbye? Break it to me gently!

Probably. Especially for the first three years or so. Once they reach a point where they can wake up and sit in their room playing in their jammies instead of waking you up at 6:15am on Saturday morning, it's a wonderful development.

My best friend and his wife tried for about two years to get pregnant with all sorts of medical help when finally they did the bit where the doctors fertilize four eggs, implant them and everyone hopes one sticks. As it turns out, two stuck and so now he's stuck with a pair of wailing five month olds. Last time I talked to him, he said "Holy shit, I can't believe I spent tens of thousands of dollars for this!" Smiley: lol

Lol. Wow - you really do get what you pay for. Well, we weren't planning this arrival, in fact we were taking precautions against it, but it's here nevertheless. I have friends too that are trying and trying and then there are jerks like us that barely have to try at all and BOOM.

I blame my trip to Italy for this "souvenir".

3 years, you say? Zoiks.

Ooh! Maybe someday my kid can post here about how he's 18 but he knows a hot girl who's almost 14 and would it be okay to hook up with her!

It's the circle of life...

It's funny you should say that, Yanari. I only just today put together the idea that when I lose sleep, like last night, I barf my guts up in the morning, like I did this morning. When I get 8 hours of sleep, no barf.

What do I know about being pregnant, dammit?!!
