Unless an argument has so many sides, it ceases to be a polyhedron and becomes a sphere.

I believe 1x10279 would approach the number needed to create a sphere from a polyhedron. It may, in fact, be much higher than that.

Hmm...I tried putting 1x10279 in my calculator, and I got "E."

Now let's compare the argument to colors. Let's see, my computer has 32-bit color, that's 4,294,967,296 I believe. I wonder how many of those are gray?

I believe standard greyscale is 256 shades, but as with the old half of half of half of half, etc., ad infinitum argument, really it's infinite.

The answer is none. Gray is not a color, but rather, a tone.

That's not what my art teacher told me back in 5th grade. Hmmm, and that was the only thing I retained from that worthless class.

You're welcome. It is a goal of mine in life to educate the feeble minded. You are a stepping stone to realizing that dream.

Black, white, and gray are shades or tints in my mind/memory.

Colour is perceived by our eyes. And whatever colour light an object radiates is the colour our eyes see. Black absorbs light but never releases it. White on the other hand reflects all the colours of light spectrum which when mixed together we get white.

So by that arguement grey is a colour.

In a recent issue of Pop Sci, there were, iirc, 10 dimensions described
Now you've gone too far! Three dimensions I can get my brain around. Four is pushing it, but TEN? That's just too much to ask of my brain pan. Smiley: cry

Oh, and about the who is grey a color debate? It all boils down to if you're talking artistically or scientifically. I believe the two fields consider greyscales in a different manner. If I remember correctly the artistic take on it has to do with greyscale printing process, not the scientific aspect of the issue.

So. It's all a matter of usage. Now quit griping about it.

Color theory for light is different than for artistic media.

Alas, but as a fool you suffer the life of a lover of bulls.

Would have thought you'd be a lover of balls considering the Genet-ness of your imagery.
