Disturbing...Follow

So I'm on my way home yesterday and I happen across this sign in front of a vets office.

DON'T LET IT GET LOST
MICROCHIP YOUR PET

Does anyone else find this highly disturbing?

Umm...no. I have two cats that are both microchipped. Basically, it's a small insert that goes under the sign in their backs. The chip itself gives my contact information so if they get lost and turned into a shelter, I can be contacted. It's also a great way to prevent pet owners from doing things like abandoning pets, because they can be held accountable.

It's not cruel, it's doesn't hurt them and you can't feel it when you pet them. No need to fear the chip...unless it's going in your head. Smiley: wink

This reminds me of something I heard on the radio.

Some nut is petitioning for the rights of dogs, saying that the papers should be changed to read humans as "Legal Guardians" and not "Owners", and made the argument that if women can vote, and blacks are no longer slaves, we should no longer call ourselves the "Owners" of our pets.

What a fucking nut-job.

Mulamen, your fears are well founded, unfortunately you are too late. Remember those vaccination shots you got as a child? No? Got the scars though I bet. Well don't go getting your pen knife out just yet and getting yourself all blooded.

Ever get a flu shot? Any other types of shots? They ever feel tingly afterwards? How about an operation? Tonsils, appendix? How about an elective surgery like a face lift or boob job? The doctor ever "check" your colon for anything?

Have you got a metal detector? Set it at its highest setting and you will find them. They are in your fillings, check your nasal passages and don't forget to check your colon! Use both your hands if you have to, its there I guarantee it!

That’s right, it may sound farfetched but they know where you are... always. No I am not talking about the police or the "government" and not aliens; I'm not a loony you know. I am talking about the Shadow government. You know who I mean. The guys who are really in control man.

They don't just use it to track you though, if you are someone with any charisma, anyone in control of anything even moderately important chances are they have a control chip in you.

Do you sometimes feel like you aren't in control of your world, like you do things for no reason or you find yourself making up reasons after the fact? That’s proof you got a control chip in you man!

Don't worry though; I know how to block the energy waves. Tinfoil. Make a little hat AND WEAR IT, all the time, if it doesn't seem to help you need to line your cloths with tinfoil then. And if people laugh and snicker at you, ignore them, its them trying to control you with peer pressure because that can't get past the tinfoil!

You know I did try this, and the results were excellent! It was about 100 degrees outside when I did, so I just laid on my back for about 3 hours, then flipped over for another three hours, afterwords I was DELICIOUS!

I like the chip idea better than what they have done in the past which is tattoing a number on your dogs belly that is registered to you. And even if they cant find you they can never do medical testing on your pet. Chip seems less painful. Growing up my parents got 3 dogs tattoed - and they wonder why I have 5 tattoes now. Identifying marks in case I ever get lost.
