Super Hero/Villian IdeasFollow

Alright yall...time to get imaginative...hell, even a little crazy. I'm in the process of getting together a d20 Superhero campaign. While the GMG came with some pre-made heroes and villians, I think it would be much more exciting if I got some ideas from the gang around here.

Essentially, any power that is already known in comic books is cool, or if you can come up with a new one, great. If you would, please give an origin to the power. Alien (Superman), Mutation (X-Men), Mystic (Juggernaut, Dr. Strange), Psionic (Jean Grey, Prof. X [I know, powers from mutation, but couldn't think of better examples]), or Super-Science (Iron Man, Capt. America).

Would greatly appreciate any ides.

Heroes are easy to come up with so I'll leave that to you and your players. But here are some intersting (imo) villains:

Telepath Leader (Psionic) - Give him Telepathy, Mind Control and Precognition. Use him to take control of the Hero Tank and beat the snot out of the players, while being able to predict what the rest of the 'Heroes' will do to thwart him.

Seductress Captain (Mutant) - A stunningly beautiful woman that knows all the 'tricks' to a man's heart. Give her some serious skill in Diplomacy, Innuendo, Intimidate, Bluff, Sense Motive, etc. Make her a hand-to-hand specialist, and give her a touch power that does very minor damage but has double or triple knockback. Use her skills to get close to the men in the group, put her hand on their chest and engage the power. It's fun to see them fly through the wall. :-)

Brawler Lieutenant (Mutant) - He's big, he's tough and he can wrestle just about anybody to the ground. Give him the ability to take a lot of punishment, Feats that improve his Grappling and Bull Rush and the ability to do serious damage with his hands. Players will be amazed at how well he can tackle somebody and beat them unconscious before killing them.

Marksman Lieutenant (Super-Science) - This guy can shoot the beard off Abe Lincoln's profile on a penny from a mile away. If there's a gadget out there that improves range, accuracy or the lethality of a gun he's got it. Coupled with his natural marksmanship these weapons make him a sniper to be feared above all others. Kind of like 'Bullseye' with a 4-billion dollar budget. :-)

Henchmen/Bodyguards/Fodder - Use a mix of street thugs and minor mutants to do the dirty work.

I was going to do a Sorcerer for you but I really can't think of anything truly unique about him so I leave it up to you. I hope these are some ideas you can use.

However, it would be really great if Fartman's loyal sidekick was a giant nose. Smiley: grin
