I got a call from somebody in the Kerry campaign this morning asking me to help unseat GWB from the presidency and could I help him by making a donation to his warchest?

I politely asked some questions as to where they got my telephone number and whatnot and then told him I'd be happy to contribute. He asked what amount he could put me down for and I told him ten large was the number I had in mind.

There was this pause and then he gushed the most effusive and embarassingly happy thanks and praise for my "most welcome financial pledge to restore America to greatness."

LOL, I told him, "You're welcome! Have a great day!" and set the phone down chuckling at my subtrefuge.

RACK me for getting over on the Democratic Party machine!

And have you noticed on the news that at Kerry rallys it sounds like a Springer episode in the making?

"Ker-ry! Ker-ry! Ker-ry!"

It sounds like he gonna bust out with a thought-for-the-day about paternity and "doing the right thing." Cracks me up. SNL will prolly read this and do a skit about it, those bastards. It was my idea first.

he probably paused a moment because your SUPPOSED to state some sort of "corporate interest" issue you want dealt with as a result from donating a large amount. they just got free money. you just gave him a nice down payment on a new beamer...congrats.

$10,000? Are you serious? Was it through a company you own or something? Or you just have enough money to give away?

I can't beleive how many people this joke was lost on....

I mean c'mon...I'd expect this kind of thing to fly over katie's head. But I mean jesus...even Twizzler knew it was a joke.

You people find new ways to shatter my fatih in humanity every day.

you remind me of jim carey in dumb and dumber..."I cant believe you fell for that man"...AFTER its exposed. even if you DID get it before, what do you hope to prove by posting "you are stupid, i am not"?

with the 3285739857 conflicting personalities on this board, how can one possibly determine who is joking and who is not? especially when the whole thing relies upon an almost single word that may not be commonly used among a ton of people?

unless of course you have nothing better to do than track personalities and attach them to SNs on this board..in which case I guess your just too cool for me.

You'd think the line, "RACK me for getting over on the Democratic Party machine!" would be a dead giveaway...

For some Totem, if it's not done with flash cards and sing alongs, the humor is missed.

/yawn.

It would have been wiser of you to pledge a nickel and then send a check. It would have cost the campaign more.

Also, next time say $2,000 that's the legal limit for individuals.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

I'd like to point out for those who think they're so much better (ie SelfishMan) that his post wasn't very clear.

Umm how clear do you want him to be? Totem basicly straight out told you he was being sneaky. Maybe you should buy some new glasses.

Sorry to make you have to type in posts to put us meager retards in our places...you can now continue to pat yourselves on the back or give each other reach-arounds or whatever it is you do to reassure yourself that the world cannot exist without you.

His post was very clear. Much like the substance that passes for what you call your brains.

Do I think I am better than everyone? No, just better than Leap. The jury is still out on you though.

Here is some humor that you will understand though.

Guy1: You want to hear a joke?
Guy2: Sure, let's hear you tell a joke.
Guy1: Alright. Knock knock.
Guy2: Who's there?
Guy1: Go **** yourself.
