Happy Birthday.

Rock on

EDIT: judging by your musical likings, go pick up a "King Crimson" disc. Preferably "In the Court of the Crimson King"
or "Larks Tounge in Aspic" (sp). Late 60's - late 70's is their good years. You may enjoy them :)

worst. birthday. ever.

sadly, you guys were nicer than my family. =(

this morning i woke up, first thing i hear from my brother is "there goes the '******'. what a f@ggot". which isnt really anything new, but it would be nice if the first thing out of his mouth wasnt something so mean, atleast on my birthday.

i then went downstairs and saw my dad and said something like "yeah, william is calling me names again" very matter of factly and with a fair amount of apathy. do i hear a happy birthday from my dad? no. since i am standing in the stair way when i tell him he says "move out of the way, im in a hurry". not only forgetting it was my birthday, but also showing complete apathy for how my brother treats me.

i come home at about 7:30 and my parents want me to open up my presents and have cake. well, my brother offered me a little confetti party popper type thing, and i was pretty much like whatever. he thought i rolled my eyes, which didnt happen, and even if i did it was dark and my back was to him, so he wouldnt have been able to see anyways. i tell him to stop being stupid, so he calls me a ***** and says "f'uck this, im going to my room". my mom then gets pissed at *me*.

then we (me, my mom, and my dad) are sitting at the table. guess what? they dont have candles for the cake. they said that they suck at singing, so they dont even bother to sing happy birthday. i have a small piece of cake (just to get it over with) and then we move to the presents. most of my relatives sent me money in varying amounts, reaching a grand total of 70 dollars as well as a shirt. one uncle and aunt didnt even send me a real card (it was e-mailed), and didnt get me a present of any sort. my parents got me a sound card (59 dollars, i think).

i was kind of hoping for a bit more from my parents, considering for christmas their gifts to each other totaled 10,000ish dollars while they spent a whopping total of 350 on me and my brother to set up a wireless network (which they also hooked their computers up to)

im not upset about the presents (except from the lack of one from my aunt and uncle, which is just not a cool thing to do) so its not a real big deal.

the little pre-birthday thing my girlfriend did for me (because we knew we couldnt see each other on the actual day) was the best part and was actually really nice. i went over to her house and she had made me a cake. we watched some movies, and we decided to open the stuff she got me. i got a happy tree friends binder type thing. a picture of her framed (it seems stupid, but its an inside story, but taking that into consideration it was a very sweet present) and there was also a metal rose type thing with the stuff, plus a card.

anways, i've pissed and moaned enough. anyone who feels like telling me that i dont any right to complain can go to ****ing hell. i know present wise i got alot more than *alot* of people get. im not upset about that, though. its that everyone in my family is a *******.

i didnt ask for a whole lot. i didnt want a party, i said "whatever" about getting me a cake, i didnt even want to go out to eat or something. still, with as little as i asked, they couldnt even do that.

hey, and great. as i was typing this my GF starts acting "stupid" (a combination of crazy and ****** stupid, not stupid stupid) and i end up logging off on less than stellar terms...

yeah, my birthday sucked.
