Stealth Geek FAQ

This pretty much perfectly describes me, except for the go-go-gadget watch. Are you a stealth geek?

That fits me pretty well, except for the geek part. I'm more of a stealth loser, a stealth psycho.

I tend to dress normally, but my keychain is an old 8meg SIMM stick. Thus, I make myself known as a stealth geek to those who know the signs.

It does make a damn good keychain though.

I was the jock steath geek who married the female steath geek because they knew they could wallow in geekiness and still go out in public and look normal.

and besides she plays EQ why wouldn't i marry her?

I kind of disagree with this study. I was a fly **** before I demonstrated geek tendencies.

I can neither confirm, nor deny these allegations.

Deformations?

definition: - To make ugly, to put out of shape.

i am curious what that has to do with choosing to marry someone? as far as i can tell i cannot be used in term of making a choice about people

i didn't marry her because i made her ugly??

or maybe you mean

I didn't marry her because i bent her out of shape?

Went through high school and college with a pocket protector and a slide rule (early version of calculator) hanging from my belt - but then I had 12 varsity atheletic letters o so no one commented on the geek suff and I was so shy I didn't care. So, I guess I qualify at this point in life as no one would guess that I have computers all oveer the house and play EQ in excess of 40 hours a week.

I used to have half a RAM stick on my keychain; some guy at work broke one while gutting an old decommissioned PC. That's now on my spare keyring, replaced with...the LDoN keyfob. Smiley: glasses
