The name the song band threw up the subject of Cheese hair metal and i wasthinking who really was the Ulimate Cheese Hair metal band?

I lived through the whole BonJovi, Def Leppard, Poison era and there was more hair spray and lycra than Katies bedroom but who was the greatest?

I vote for Motley Crue for pure decadance

Love /Hate , Guns and Roses also deserve a mention

Who were your Hair hero's?

Come on now...I mean, where do we begin? I thinks there needs to be more in place here...like you must stipluate why you loved that hair metal band by also including a story about the song or a particularly cheesy lyric.

Like this:

I remember going to high school dances and loving those last few "slowies" at the end of the night which would afford you the opportunity to grope your favorite guy or girl. Well, these songs were inevitably hair metal songs, and the one I remember most was "To Be With You" by Mr. Big. 'Member those weirdos?

Anyway, I secretly had a crush the same guy as my best friend and he asked me to dance that last song instead of her. Hah! And he felt me up later! Hah! Still today when I hear that song, I think of Eddie. He had the tightest jeans and hottest little headbanger attitude. Probably works at a gas station now.

Or this:

I really like Motley Crue because I was really touched by Vince Neil when he sang, " She's got the looks that kkeeeeiilll!"

Cinderella and BulletBoys.

* sigh *

First concert ever. There was a third band, too, but I don't remember who it was.

Favorite hair band I never saw : Whitesnake.

David Coverdale could sing a pole song like no one else.

I heart Whitesnake and Poison.

There, I said it.

I loved Twisted Sister in like 6th and 7th grade. Had all there albums, everyone thought I was weird.

They were right.

Well I still Love Dokken, and Tesla rocked hard too.

Whitesnake has some great songs, I'm planning on going and finding their old Slide it In CD this weekend actually.

Not really a typical hair band but I still love Iron Maiden. Their new CD "Dance of the Dead" is worth picking up for sure. Still great lyrics, guitar work, and songs that are more poetry than anything.

You can hear one lick of the new CD at www.ironmaiden.com
