"Oh Danny-boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling you..." That kind of Irish? It'd have to be that really short redheaded guy with the deep voice who had a few hits in the '80s. Rick something.

I suck at this game.

Well, Murth, let me tell you:

1. I should have guessed that earlier...so that makes me a dummy and being a dummy makes me mad! Smiley: mad

2. I like Van Morrison so I hate to think of him as an ******* in real life...how can the person that wrote "Into the Mystic" be an a-hole?

Yeah, I was a big Rick Astley fan in the 80s, since I was a skinny little redhead kid myself.

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and hurt you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
etc etc

well its van the man
who is my all time favorite artist ever.
song is Maddame George" off of "Astral Weeks"
his music is incredibly beutiful in many ways however he looks at music as just a job and doesnt understand the hype people have/had over him even though he himself is guilty of idolism of people like jellyroll morton and Jackie Wilson.

best example of his views come from "Why Must I Always Explain" on "Hymms To The Silence"

...
Bared my soul to the crowd eh but oh what the cost
Most of them laughed out loud like nothing's been lost
There were hypocrites and parasites and people that drain
Tell me why must I always explain

Why, why must I always explain
Over and over, over again
It's just a job you know and it's no sweet lorraine
Tell me why must I always explain (alright)

Well I get up in the morning and I get my brief
I go out and stare at the world in complete disbelief
It's not righteous indignation that makes me complain
It's the fact that I always have to explain

I can't be everywhere at once, there's always somebody to see
And I never turned out to be the person that you wanted me to be
And I tell you who I am, time and time and time again
Tell me why must I always explain

Well it's out on the highway and it's on with the show
Always telling people things they're too lazy to know
It can make you crazy, yeah it can drive you insane
Tell me why must I always explain.
...

Ok, a stupid question here: Who is Van Morrison and is he related to Jim Morrison? They are from the same era, right? Were they, like, brothers or something? Who was their agent? They should have told them to pick different names...

Huh, Murth, I had no idea that was who it was that sang that song. I'm not much into music however, so my knowledge is severely limited.

Don't mind me! I mostly like old valses and boleros. What do I know?

That, and Skeet makes a much better Queen than I ever would.
