Pretty sure I could beat Campbell in a footrace right now.

I think even Pirlo would beat him by now.

He'd look magnificent either way. Yay, no more Greece. Probably slightly worse for you guys, but more fun for me to watch.

Way better for us, Greece are tough and only olay defense, not something the Dutch team deals with all that well. And Costa Rica has 3 players missing the next match I think, pretty big hit to their team.

That missed penalty foul in the first half, that's the Mexican player breaking his shin bone on Robben's ankle.

I guess I missed at least one entertaining game. Ochoa is out? Shame, but congrats Nedderland.

Wow that looks painful. Hurt Robben so much that it flared up near the end of the game, hurling him to the ground without contact. :)

Yeah, you can see that Robben runs so fast, that it takes a while for the first half contact to "catch up" to him here. FIFA will instigate and force him to sit out a game and floss Suarez' teeth.

Robben makes an awful show out of it but the Mexican payer did step on his toes and as proven by the ref in the first half he wouldn't have gotten anything unless he makes it look worse than it is.

Also, we could use a good upset already. This round is turning out to be all too predictable. Smiley: frown

Usually the case, 4 years ago only 7/8 teams that finished 1st in their group got to the quarter finals.

Yeah for all the corners, free kicks, fast breaks and all that there have been surprisingly few good opportunities. Also Nigeria really needs to get back faster when they lose the ball.

You missed something big, a very almost goal by France after a beautiful action from Benzema.
