Other hobbies~ besides FFXIFollow

I like to paint alot, although I havent done nearly as much as I would like to since FFXI . Ive also done 3D graphics as a hobby for over 10 years, sometimes I get paid for it. My job has me doing 2D graphics in Photoshop, but im about to go back to school and get a masters in computer animation (screwin around with 3D programs for 10 years doesnt guarantee a job). Maybe i'll end up at P•I•X•A•R

Hmm when im not playing Final Fantasy you can either find me chasing my daughter around the house... or playing a ROM on my computer... and hey i have even been known to curl up and read a book.

*^^* So adorable to see people with children...

Anywho... I like to compose/transcribe music. I like to pick out random songs to play (mostly from www.ichigos.com) whenever I can. It helps get the thoughts organized and such, particularly after hours of studying. FFXI is also a sort of breather, but it also has a tendency to suck you in.

I also like to cook and tweak with recipes. I am by no means a culinary artist, but I like to give existing recipes a twist. I usually like to play with anything from sweet-glazed cinnamon toast to a fresh seafood sauté.

Oh, and I like lego. :)

Winters I don't want to leave the house, but if I do its to spend quality time with the bf going to dinner and movies or some other outing.

Summers you'll find me boating and swimming. Watching outdoor plays. Picnics with the famdamily. Theme parks, water parks.

Well what I am doing currently is learning how to forge (Yes, with heat, anvil and a hammer..) out Japanese style blades (Tanto, wakizashi, Katana, cooking cutlery, etc....). It's quite an ordeal to do some of that sort of stuff, as you may think. I am also trying to teach myself Japanese as well. And let us not forget my FPS'es I tend to play a lot, lol. Cursed RMA'ed motherboard.....

Beekeeping and fishing here.
Yeah, I know, the beekeeping thing is unusual, but I enjoy it.
I also enjoy my workahol, only one year left on that engineering degree ><;

I direct and teach in the theatre, I run a very successful fantasy web community, and I do a lot of support work for one of my favorite authors (marketing, thematic consultant on products, setting up of conferences, etc.). I also really enjoy reading, cooking, appreciating a good glass of wine, gardening, traveling, etc. :)

Snowboarding in the winter. Mountaing climbing, mountain biking, and camping in the summer. Reading when I'm at the work site and can't play FFXI.

besides waiting on hillbillies and rednecks to die... um...

i like to read, program linux, play ultimate frisbee, drink, smoke, um... be a general modern day hippie... listen to music, write, play video games. i may be 22 but theres no reason to act like an adult yet... XD

I take offense to you calling me a worthless rdm, seeing as you have never partied me, Velsharoon. The random slapping was irritating, but I don't really care too much about that. You have to learn to let go.

Maybe it was from back when I was a bit angry with you about disrespecting Soks. If it makes you feel any better, I kind of see where you're coming from, now, anyway. Well if your implying that the Redmages in my linkshell (Acerbusventus, Noodle, Quercus) half ass their job, or are untrustworthy, then that would be a really poor judge of character. All three of them are the only people I would leave my Linkshell to, and TLB is my Vana'diel's life work. They have been there in key parts of my vana'diel story and in key parts of my development as a human being. Let me tell you, if you have anything against the red mage in my ls, then I think the problem is on your end, because they are all excellent players, and even better people.

So again, If you have a problem with me ever, you come to me anytime. If you have a problem with my Linkshell, once again...you know where to contact me. If you have a problem with any specific people of my linkshell, I'll always offer an ear to listen and I'll stay unbiased. However one thing I dont tolerate is bad mouthing people in a public forum like this.

Theres alot of players that are horrible, no matter what job. There are ALOT of bad DRKS out there who just dont understand hate. Same thing with Rangers. There are alot of horrible white mages (me included) that dont understand hate, who dont use macros or who skimp on spells because (theyre not necessary). I've seen alot of Plds who dont understand the concept of hate, and thats pathetic...

my point, there are alot of bad players in any job, and usually they overshadow the good ones.

The problem with the redmages doesnt seem like he just doesnt like them, but rather a personal problem with a specific redmage (Quercus)...
