Tell Jana and Co. I said hello. Eminent was the last LS I belonged to before quitting FFXI. And I really feel terrible. I joined them at a time where life changes and such prevented me from really participating as I should've. By then I had lost my spark for the game; I was used up and mentally broken from outside issues as well as ingame frustrations.

I'm eager to join FF14. I've been signed up for preferably PC beta for a while now. I built a really kickass machine mostly lying in wait for 14's release. If AMD releases their Hexacore CPU before 14's release as they should be, I'll be pimpin' in style.

Jana and Eminent are good people. Most of them are top tier players with lots of good talent. Say hi to Manipulator for me as well. I really honestly do feel bad that I didn't get to give them my very best work. Eh truthfully, maybe I was never really cut out for the whole all grouping, all the time mentality. I think I would've really missed out on a lot of the fonder memories FFXI has given me. Such as sitting on the edge of Bibiki bay and watching the sun rise in game, as it rises 6a.m. IRL at the same time. Or leading a group of youngling lv 30 players through Ifrit's cauldron safely to the cloister and fending off all of their noobie aggro. Or just sitting on the 2nd floor balcony in Bastok staring at the Metalworks and just talking with friends doing nothing at all productive. Running through the Boyhada Tree and saving a party from their link. /sitting and chilling by the Bloodbead pond or the cloister entrance getting to know newer players and skilling up.

That's really what I enjoyed about FFXI. I never really cared for Sky Farming, Chip Farming, sea runs, or ANY of that ToAU drivel SE thought up. I missed Lower Jeuno and the mismash of players you'd see there. I fought hard at level 20 just to get to Jeuno. The sense of pride, awe and accomplishment I felt when I got there was indescribable. For SE to take that away by essentially moving everyone to Whitegate with that God-awful snake charmer music felt like a slap in the face. I guess I never forgave FFXI for changing on me.

But none-the-less, Eminent were good hard working people, and I wish I could've gave them more. Well, hopefully we'll all see one another again, in another life to come soon.

Yea kid. The old days are far gone. Oooo about 2 months ago I was asked a question in a LS about how to burn ws points. I look and their a 75 MNK trying to get Asurian Fist and have no idea how to skill chain. Can you imagine going 75 levels and not knowing how to do something so simple? I refused to answer the question. I have become old and somewhat bitter. I still enjoy helping players learn but when you get that far the learning part should be done for something that simple. But all to often these days due to level syncing. And now the Abyssa alliances were you can go from 75-80 in 3 hours. People are totally clueless. And I mean totally. People view newbies as a commodity to bend and twist and use more then help. Find a newbie and make them a sync bitch till you don’t need them no more. And throw them away. And what do you end up with a person who doesn’tt even know what a skill chain is and has a skill of 150 at 80 with no idea how to raise it. No idea were to do anything and omfg no idea what weapon is best to use for what job. And do I need to mention /dnc

While I will agree it is awesome for soloing. But don’t come to my party wit hit as a sub or ill send your ass back to the mog house I don’t care were we are. “But it’s a good sub the mages wont have to cure me and I can help heal.” IF I WANTED YOU TO USE YOUR TP TO CURE PEOPLE I WOULDN’T OF INVITED THE MAGES!!!!11!!

After all these years that one still gets me. being killed by a dead gob one of SE gifts of love. If I go to 14 it wont be till march. When the ps3 version is released. I ant buying a new pc after just getting mine paid off . I can play it but my wife cant unless I buy her a pc. Tho I love her . my pocket book doesn’t.

back when they added biki bay to xp in. before we gotthe noob generating machine we call abyssa. i wan in a xp party. fighting gobs i was on my RDM. i convert as soon as i see Lazertaru defeats teh Goblin <waht ever it was>. i start casting cureIv and i fall over dead. and it said the Goblin <waht ever it was> Defeats Megatron. it was dead but some how managed to shoot me with a crossbow after it was deadit died then i convert then i die as im cuign myself. needless to say it was a tad bit humorous and confusing.
