Just curious if anyone remembers me...I've been gone for just over a year now due to deployments and miss all my friends and the challenges they put me up to. I had a friend level my RDM to 75 (from 66) for me while I was on my 2nd deployment (working on my third now) and I really don't know if I'm going to be coming back to FF or not.

Well, this deployment is done in September and my Capt. was nice enough to "volunteer" me for a shortfall for the next one...so I might not be back to the States till next year.

You know, at least at a normal job I'll have the option of threatening to quit.
Will you at least be able to get a short tour credit out of it? You might want to check into that. Then again, look on the bright side. You'll have some nice pocket change in your bank account when you get back.

No short tour, they waived that so that I could stay >< Money is ok but most is for a new car (2004 WRX STI) and flying to see my GF and family for a few weeks (different sides of the States ><)

You might check over at the killingifrit.com forums. Things kind of died around here when Jay stopped spamming all the threads. Might get a newbie in around every now and then, but nothing really happens here any more.
You might also try ffxionline.com forums. Some folks here got peeved about Allakhazam being bought out by IGE and migrated over there. I don't know about those forums; I've only been to the site a couple of times.

Thank you Bartal, I had to make a new account but I did post something on the site :) Just to let everyone know I will be coming back (assuming I can get my characters back from the abyss), but I won't be on near as much as before. I might get on and chill for a little while, do some crazy soloing that everyone thinks is impossible (like Titan at 64 which is NOT impossible; I completed that one)...my Love is playing WoW so I will have to try and balance time with her, WoW, FFXI and my job :P
