Wow, my my I must say, I see a lot of "I'm thinking of comming back" threads going on, and I must say, i've personally been wanting to come back myself for quite some time now and have very heavily been considering it.
If someone wouldn't mind taking the time out of their day to answer a question or two, it would seriously help my decision.
I'd have to start over completely, because I forget all my account details, so i'm wondering how camped lower-ish level NM's still are (LL, Emp., ect.)
and #2, has the population truly dropped as drastically as i've been reading, or is the "ghost town" effect just in because people are just spending more time in Tav. Whitegate, and newer higher level places, ect?
Any help would be much appreciated.

The world has not died. There are fewer people, so you might have trouble getting pre-Kazham parties, but most things are essentially the same. I personally see no more than two or three campers at VE and LL nowadays, but it's because those drops are R/E, unlike the days of old.
If you can stand a solo grind of 1-20ish, you'll be fine.

Guess i'll try busting out RDM 'til 20 and then just beg someone to get me my SJ items lol.
Good to know there isn't much competition anymore really, never liked not having good gear.. so i'll be camping the lizzie, emp, and whatever that sprouts name is that drops that earring.
Just trying to get through the version updates now.. it's a slow process...
...which is to be understandable. I mean, what are we going on, 4 expansion packs and 6/7ish years worth of updates.
