Alot of folks on here don't know me, but for those that do: It is time to move on and leave VanaD behind.
I have enjoyed the past four years and all the fun and friendship that has accompanied it. Maybe I'll see some of you again someday in another MMORPG. But, for now, it is time to say farewell.

Hey Para! Sorry to see you leave but glad that RL has become good enough to push you over the edge! :-) I am getting ready to take an extended leave myself. But I know we have grown apart since our days in KtR and CD, but you were always such an awesome person! So I wish you the best always!

Oh para!:( Thank you for everything! We'll always have our CoP static of which I will always think of with fond memories. And of course the countless mindless slaying of beastmen just for the fun of it. You made the game much more enjoyable for me and I thank you. Same as Alliyah, we, too have gone in different directions, but I still remember you^^
Sad to see you go, sooo many old school ppl are slowly moving on, it just becomes a little more lonely every time in Vana.
For some reason I always get sentimental about it, I am convinced all of us first generation FFXI players who "grew" up together in this game have something special. Sure there are always new friendships, but nothing is more precious than those old pals who trekked to Jeuno with you for the first time, formed the first LS together or discovered and tried to figure out how sky works when it was brand new.
I wish you luck and excitement in your future adventures

I always appreciated your willingness to step up and learn new things and help lead at events or just in general by example.
You were always one to pipe up if I asked, "Does anyone want to _____ ?" It didn't matter if it was XP, merits, Assaults, skilling up, etc, etc, etc... you were usually a willing participant and for that I'll always be grateful.

Hopefully you don't do what I did... I thought I'd never come back and got rid of every single item on my character and then deleted her... I would just cancel the content ID and not delete the character. Learn from my mistake lol.
