Eewok you're much better off creating your character in FFXI Model Viewer. Trying to transpose from a screenshot is near impossible. LoL

You answered your own query XD the backgrounds are made by just messing about in Photoshop or whatever
Model viewer allows you to render your in-game character (you select race, hair, etc. just like you do when you first started the game) and then add what ever equip you want. You also have the option to have your character do any anmiation you want. From sitting to weapon skills, it's all there.
If you've ever watched any shows about how they do 3D animation, it's a lot like that. LoL. You see your character on a flat color background (blue I think) and you manipulate him/her via built-in animations or just turning/panning.

The background for the site is a few images overlayed with each other... including a nice shot of qufim during light weather and another of the blank sky glitch you can sometimes see in first person while resting in a corner of a wall and looking side to side. I stopped playing with sig images long ago, but we have a couple people on the LS boards who enjoy doing such... and I must say that Spikeycloud's are pretty good.

So i downloaded modelviewer but i can get it to work.
It says something about my rom3 files. I checked the Q&A pages on the site http://www.folye.net/help.html and went through the guidelines.. BUT! .. i dont have a rom3 file in my ffxi catalog.. only rom1 and rom2??? o_O
<- easily confused with his memory as a goldfish..
