I am having a problem activating my AF quest for the Temple Gaiters (Monk lvl52 AF).
The pre-requisite for the quest is to be level 50 and completed the AF1 quest I have done both of these but Oggbi won't give me the quest.
I spoke to another MNK who told me I had to activate the Gloves quest 1st so I've also done that but Oggbi still won't give me the quest he just says something about Spirits within and spirits without.
Has anyone else had any problems activating AFS?
Am I missing something or should I just call a GM? I don't want to waste their time if i'm just being a numpty and missing a step.

I hear that if you have an AF quest open for another job you have to finish that before you can activate a new one. It happened to my friend when he switched from WAR to THF.

The only other job I have high enough is my bard and i have completed all the AFs for the brd.
I've done AF1 for the pld and drg but they are not high enough for the later AFs

You got the AF4 (gloves) quest? Are you sure you don't have your AF2 quest active already? Check in your quest log in case you got it while not paying attention.
It turns out I do have it activated already. /embaress
