Darnit I have been out of the game for months and now
a week befor school starts I am craving FFXI!
*slams head on desk*
I miss the community I miss the adventure!
I have been running around busy irl and doing all kinda fun things
but damnit I want to get back in the game /scream
and this is made all the worse since the box set dvd thingy
is comeing out like tomarrow ><!

sorry about that just felt the need to let it out
since if I told my GF she would draw and quarter me
not to mention the things my roomie would do to me for even
thinking about going back in >.>

I deleted the character (long time ago)
I canceled the content IDs
I smashed my FFXI & CoP CDs with a hammer
shoved the FFXI & CoP Key codes into the shred-O-matic
and uninstalled the program.
but I still have the urge to come back
I miss the people I miss the adventures.
But if I came back my Gf would kill me.

Hide your GF in the closet, ill take care of good old Mornlithe bro ;) and wtf, i never got a chance to say goodbye, that means you have to come back and play like (lets see.. penelty game time is..) yea minimum 2-3 years before your alowd to quit ^^v

I am starting school on thursday and am working on not running back into FFXI and what should I get in my email

this of corse made me spiral into memory land.
The things I did in the game the people I met
on and on and on.
This of corse lead to a discussion with the gf -.-
Flatly I was told 2 things..
1) if I go back she will hate my guts for going back
2) The only way I can go back is if I agree to let her go back
*sigh* I am not in the mood to be hated..
and there is no way in hell I would allow her to return
after all the drama that came along with her
being in a MMORPG community last time.
so I guess this makes it Pharnum .5 Gf 1
I get a .5 cause she said she would entertain the
idea of me rejoining FFXI after my first week or so of
classes so I would know what my work load will be like.
I am still stuck in no FFXI land.. if anyone has any
sugestions I am more than willing to listen.

If you decide to come back, you better do it within 90 days of deleting your character. I have a good friend (IRL) that quit, and deleted his character about 5 or 6 months ago. Last week he made the decision to return, if he could get his character back. He called SE, and they said that since it’s been more than 90 days, they would have to submit a request to their office in Japan. Once the request is received, it will be reviewed, and they will get back to him within 10 days.
After the 3rd or 4th day he received an e-mail stating that they could not reinstate his character. Since then, he’s been back and forth with SE several times via phone and e-mail. At this point it’s not looking good for him.
Just wanted to make you aware of this, in case you are seriously contemplating a return. We would love to have you back Pharnum!

I dont think I would want my original Pharnum back I cleaned that character out hard....
dropped all my af. gave away all my things
I would rather start over from level 1 ^_^ I think it would be more fun
besides if my old Pharnum came back I would be in level 1 starting equipment (yea I put him back in it)
on the selbina mhuar ferry ^_^
with 0 gil lol I gave away a good 10-12 mil worth of stuff

When I was in school, I'd disappear for 2-3 months letting my char live until I could play again. Guess it sounds like you failed to suck your GF into MMORPG...
Could you both start level 1 characters and level up together? You can talk to people in tells. Play that job you're leveling with her when she's around...make it feel like you're spending time with her. But make sure you do other stuff she wants to do even if you hate it. Just suck it.

Well... I did actualy get her sucked into the MMORPG
comunity unfortunatly that was the problem.
It turned out that she found she was seriously attracted to one of my best friends in FFXI and when we hit one of the rocky patches that all couples go through from time to time she left me for about a month and went down to move in with him.
Gradualy things were worked out between her and I but a
condition of getting back together was that she no longer
goes back into the FFXI world. (hence the drama of last time)
She did agree to not kill me if I went back in but..
that was only if I allowed her to go back in.
