Bastok 7-2Follow

Hello again everyone. LoL

In lieu of Bastok's success in reaching first place in the rankings, I'm trying to make a push to rank 10 by the end of the week. :-b

I have a 68BLM, 66RDM, and me 68MNK looking to do Bastok 7-2 tonight around 9:30EST. If anyone is interested, please let me know ASAP.

Mission 7-2 is the BCNM in Palborough Mines against 4 NM Quadavs. With a competent tank and DD we could easily take this fight and I'm willing to try it with 5, but would gladly take a sixth to make it easier.

If you're on this mission and can go tonight, please let me know. If you're passed this mission and just would like to help, it would also be greatly appreciated. You have to be Bastok rank 8 or greater if you're not currently on this mission to get into the BCNM fight.

The RDM, BLM, and I have done about everything together from Day 1. :-b He's got Sleepga II. :-D

Those two live to sleep/nuke everything they can. They even went out and actually landed a Sleep II on the Tavnazian Rams. Crazy SOBs. There really isn't much that they can't sleep. LoL

EDIT: I have a feeling this is being postponed until tomorrow. If that works better for anyone that's interested, please let me know.

Hey Myke! Well, we went in with 5 from the LS and just destroyed the quadavs. Didn't set any records, but it was never really close either. We also did 8-1 with the help of Hrdcormofo (/bow) who came out when he heard we were taking on the ants with just 4 of us. LoL. Probably a good thing too because it was the sloppiest fight we've ever done. Thanks for saving our aces. LoL

Tonight's agenda is 8-2. Then we're left with the dreaded 9-1. Fowler, Algar, are you two still willing to help out with that one? I know it was talked about some time ago so I wanted to see if the offer still stands.

I'll take all the help I can get on it as I heard it's hell. LoL. Thanks in advance!

Oh and Myke, don't stress 7-2 too much. 5 smart people can do this easily as long as you have an AoE sleep. If everyone is over 70, you could probably pull it off with 4. Let me know if you need some help on it.

Leetfade - couple of us from YF did 8-1 and 8-2 last night (Hrd helped us on 8-1 and 8-2 also lol), but 2 ppl missed 8-2 so we're going to try to do it again and then 9-1. Dont know when - we have linkshell event starting 7 est tonight, so it would have to be later or another day.

9-1 looks pretty tough, and i suspect only mages and tanks are needed since melee will cause them to fluid spread. The rest of us can tag along for the win :) its nice that these last couple fights werent bc's though.

Don't under estimate 8-2. I got to tag along with Ravan's LS and we had 6-7 people for 8-2. Some friends of mine were skilling up in Kuftal and I tapped them for some help. While we could have done it alone, the extra help did help. Nothing like seeing ghosts appear on sceen and start casting Stonga III and Aeroga III. It isn't that hard but it isn't as simple as some guides seem to make it sound.

Now for the advertisement. If anyone is doing the 9s look for me. I can raise 3. :3

9-1 Complete. Holy crap this was the most insane fight I've done so far. LoL

Ok here's the funny part, our pt setup.

68MNK (me), 70RDM (Eilurac), 66RDM (Speck), 62RDM (Nyru), 66BRD (GenesisX), 68BLM (Abancai), 55BLM (Munkeegutz). LoL yeah. One person was 70. No real tanks. I had the joy of trying to keep the mobs names red (I was in my own pt with a rdm/blm for escape in emergencies).

So we got to camp and I and the 68 BLM were going to pull the slime. We get to the pond, and great, a friggin demon pugil calls the ??? his home. >< Here's our first hurdle. LoL. Well I noticed the BLM had just recasted sneak a short ways back. So I told him to stay there, and sleep the gigaplasm from there.

I spawned the plasm and started moving. I popped another silent oil and started booking back to camp. All of the sudden I hear the plasm moving. WTF? His sleep didn't stick. O.O I saw the BLMs health dropping fast so I ran back and voked it with my +8 enmity gear. LoL. BLM hits ES+Sleep II and hands it a pillow. He gets out of yellow, we resneak and get back to camp.

So we rejoin the other 5 and wait the slime out. He finally arrives, I voke, and then what seemed like 20 people casting sleep went off. LoL. I got 2 vokes in while they set up their nuke rotation. The first death went pretty well and he splits to two macroplasms. We decided to take one down to the death (as suggested on the strat guide). We have the BRD and the 70RDM concentrate on sleeping and everyone else got to nuke.

After 2 rounds of nuking, we now have 2 microplasms. Here's where things get interesting. LoL. I'm still voking the Macro trying to keep him in check for when he wakes up. So anyways, the first micro gets close to death and reslept. One of the BLMs, which I now call "Trigger", decided to finish it off. So now we have 2x Nano Plasm, 1x Micro Plasm, 1x Macro Plasm. AND the sleepers were resting and not ready! Two people ate dirt trying to get them under control. Ouch.

So now it's starting to get a little hairy. Here's error number 2. LoL. I told the BLM to ES Sleepga II and have everyone raised and rest. So we did. Well, I guess they just weren't very tired. >< 3rd person dies. *sigh*. So we retried this a couple times then we realized that the 68BLM could one shot the Nanoplasms. So we had him drop them so we only had 2 to deal with.

Ok so now we're down to a Macro Plasm, and a Micro Plasm. We've got everyone on their feet and healing up. The 66RDM get un weakened, gets full health, hits convert and readies cure IV. I guess convert = slime alarm clock. The macro plasm hits speck for 200 more than his 45 health. Speck is defeated by the Macro Plasm. SOB! For those keeping track, that's 2 deaths for him, one death for the 55BLM, one for the 70RDM. Luckily he had readied a reraise gorget after his first death. LoL

Well we just took that in stride, he raised, ran away and rested. The 55BLM goes unweakened, the plasm smells blood again and goes AWOL. Luckily, we get him slept before he slaps the little taru. Close call.

So we get everyone rested and get back to it. Back to the MicroPlasm. We get him down to about half health then he somehow gets tp to use Fluid Toss. :-/ For those don't know, this is the worst attack they have. AoE for HIGH damage. I believe this is where the 55BLM ate it again (death number 5). LoL. Our initial thoughts were to leave him dead so he didn't eat it again. LoL. He convinced us to raise him again.

We split the micro, and had aba one hit the nanos. We're now (finally) down to the last macroplasm. Right about now he's well rested and sick of sleeping. LoL. We did two rounds of nuking and he is left with 1% health. Perfect. Everyone re-stoneskins and we one hit him with everyone else on sleepga.

Down to 2x micro plasm. Some how they decided not to sleep and decided to chase the lower level RDM? WTF? LoL. She got a little freaked and started kiting. O.O Ack! We finally got them under control. 45 minutes from spawning the GigaPlasm, we finish off the final NanoPlasm. /hurray!

Me, Eil, Speck, and Aba check for yellow health, pop sneak, and bust ace to the pond. Run back to camp and escape with a quickness. LoL

That had to be one of the craziest fight I've been in but it was a lot of fun. Short of the 2 mistakes our work was amazing. I couldn't do much but sit back and voke and watch our mages work. It was truly awesome to see the teamwork involved and see everyone pull it off. Great job guys! On to Castle Vazhl for the final show down!

Im still interested in how a 150 dmg nuke and a resisted sleepga got hate over you leet XD
