i dont know if is apparant (sp) to everyone on our server but there seems to be alot of hate between mithra and elvaans on our server and i would like to know why this is ^^; (hey im bored waiting for the server update done what else are we gonna talk about?) so anyways could someone plz tell me why there is alot of fighting between then >>?

i've never really noticed it before...
the only kinda hatreds i know of were
DRG/DRK sometimes if one feels too strongly over the other,
and Cerberus/cetranne.

Lol! {True Strike}, I actually have noticed the Elvaan-Mithra thing, but I always thought it was just some sort of a joke that was played out for too long. I know some Mithra(Manthra) don't like Elvaan Males, but that's about it.
OK I have your answer. I have pissed off many elfs with this piece of Vana' Diel history. The mithra are the offspring of Galka males and Elf females. Ages ago the Mighty galka had thousands of sexual encounters with Elf women. The result of that were the Mithra. The elfs being the stuck up race that they are banished the poor Mithra to the jungles of Kazham, executed ALL elf women having relations with the Mighty Galka and began teaching there elf children that Galka had no sexual organs. This is where the myth started. Ever since there people were banished to Kazahm the cute Mithra have hated teh elfs and the elfs have hated the as they call them "Half-Breed" offspring.
