Hi,

What are the places you find the most beautiful in the game?
(Let's exclude {sky} and {moon} since they are inaccessible unless you complete ZM12+)

So far I really like:
Dragon's Aery
Xarcabard (the aurora like things are awesome)
Hall of the Gods
Fei'Yin

I got only one thing to say..

Mordion Gaol. Coolest place. Especially when the GMS actually show themselves.

Typo still has a soft spot for La Theine >.- It's been me favourite zone since I first discovered it on me lvl20 suicidal trip to Jeuno. "X3

For me, it's crawlers nest and that room with those sacks hanging from the ceiling. Brings a tear to my eyes just thinking about it.....

I agree with Foret...

(Sanctuary of Zi tah) (Can I have it?) (/kneel) (/bow)

Xcarbard and Beaucedine Glacier are also really beautiful.

Castle Zvahl Keep is not really beautiful, but it is a cool place to go. Awesome BGM and atmosphere.

Zi'tah gets my vote

I've had a sore spot for La'Theine ever since I fell in one of those craters and it took me an hour to figure out how to get back up. :-/

In my opinion, its just as you enter East Saratubaruta(forgive the spelling) and you walk out onto the cliff, and sit there, you see all of sara, the music is perfect, and i know its excluded, but the sunset just makes it all the better.*sigh*

Oh, and i forgot, My second vote is at the lake in Qufim Island, somedays at night, you get the northern lights, and its just beautifull....then u hear the banshee scream and notice that one of ur pt members didnt pay attention and started casting enhancing magic and made it aggro you.....

My favorite is Yhoator near the Temple of Uggalepih. All those ruined stone pillars and such really make the place stand out and make you think about how the place used to look.

I love Xarcabard, one of the tops for sure. Great background structures and music. Those demons really give it a menacing feel, even though I find the place to be gorgeus.

Sanctuary of Zi'tah rounds out my top three. I was soloing here on BST for a little bit and actually took a minute to stare on more than one occasion.

I'm sure my list will change when I get the expansion, but so far those are my top two.

North Gustaberg: on top of Zegham Hill

I really like Kazham, even though it's a town. I think the jungles are bad and hate them (but the waterfalls are nice I will admit).

Flying into Kazham just reminds me of flying into Hawaii tho, which is one of my spots I like to visit in RL. I get a fuzzy feeling whenever I get there for the first time. About 30 seconds later when I get into the jungle, that feelings goes to hell pretty much hehe.

La Thienne, right after it rains, look out towards the crag and see that rainbow around 9:00. You've got sunrise and a rainbow...That's pretty.

I've got odd tastes.

#1 - The big rock in the middle of Western Altepa Desert.
My all time favorite... dear God. It's got little "shelves" of greenery and tiny oasises(sp?) where you can just soak. I've been known to sit there in my Lord's Yukata and daydream about owning the place. And then a Sabotender/Cactuar/whatever spawns and destroys me. ^^

#2 - Valkurm Dunes
But only when the sun is really bright. The sand positively glows WHITE. It's great. I don't being on the shore, but it's nice to have it in the background.

#3 - The Strange Apparatus room in Crawler's Nest
I just saw it today! ^^ Holy crap, it's so cool.

#4 - Rolanberry Fields
Three places specifically. The area in front of the gate to Jeuno, this one spot near the Crawler's Nest with a little, run-down wooden shack, and the entrance to the Crawler's Nest itself. (I love that little mini-valley where everyone sits) It's so pretty when it rains.

#5 - Just about anywhere in Ru'Lude Gardens.
Ridiculously elaborate medieval fantasy architecture hovering about half a mile over the world? {Yes, please.} And wouldn't ya know it, it's made of marble. The little spots with the benches and trees in the soil in front of them are also quite nice.

#6 - ... Bastok Markets?!
Yes, I like Bastok Markets. I know people seem to despise the lack of color, but I think it really suits the place. It feels like a city on the verge of a new technological era, which flies nicely with me.

I don't like Qufim. It feels desolate and lonely. And the tower is pure bleh.

The first time I ever walked onto Qufim, long, long ago, I got the impression of a true battlefield...it seemed like the sort of place where armies might clash, laying siege to Delkfutt's Tower or something...

I personally enjoy loitering around the lake in Jugner Forest. The clear water and the island in the middle add a very distinctive ambiance.

But recently, I had a new experience. I had nothing at all to do, I didn't feel like leveling, so I wandered to the Crag of Mea and got a chocobo.

I wandered generally northward, and found myself in Zi'tah, of which many tales have been told. That place has an ambiance of it's own, but then I found myself in Ro'Maeve.

Far from beautiful. Desolate cermet ruins in the middle of Li'Telor, not even vines would grow on the crumbling bone-like walls. Silenced, I passed through without drawing the attention of the Weapons that populated the place. Still, the atmosphere was tangible.

Finally, in the middle of all that, I got to the Hall of the Gods. Evocative doesn't even begin to cover it. Just go there. Do yourself that favor.

I've posted it once, and I will say it again. I really enjoy the new upgraded graphics in the CoP expansions. My favorite is Carpenters landing.. several places.

When the sun shines.. you can see the fish jumping out of the water.. the snakes (orange and black) that slither in the water.

At night... the fire flies blink along the banks of the water.. the owls sit in the trees.. if you look close, you can see their yellow eyes first, then make out the black bodies. Although the land scape looks alot like Jugnar.. the new details add something you cant get anywhere else.

Bikini Bay is just as I have always imagined a tropical paradise. The clown fish and angel fish in the water.. the sting rays.... wow. I suggest everyone take the Manaclipper Tour. Also, coming along Buburimu Pen. on the tour at night and seeing all the glowing lights... priceless.

Go SE! Keep increasing the quality of the graphics and give us a true wonderland to keep visiting.
