I'm mainly writing this at this time to see the number of people that would be interested. It's a Server Event so ta speak. Understandably there's no way for the whole server to par take and more than likely not everyone would want to. Either way, Here's a idea in a nutshell

Event: Zero k
Fee: 1,000 per person
Prize: 10,000
Lvl Restriction: 10-15 Any Job
Start: K. Highlands
End: K. Highlands

Description: Ok Basically your runnin a loop that runs from the highlands back to the highlands. You job can be no lower than 10 no higher than 15.

Your path would go as such, Valkurm Dunes > La Theine > Jugner Forest > Battalia Downs > Rolanberry Fields > Pashow > K. Highlands.

At such a lvl range key to winning overall would be your ability to Evade Danger and Navigate the shortest route through each zone. There will be Checkpoints at each zone. Passage of each checkpoint would be signified by either the person or a particular item you would get from the Checkpoint'person'. [I'm still deciding on which one]

a few Rules.

#1. No teleports
#2. No Chocobos [lvl 15s can't hit Jeuno up and grab a choco if they already have license that is ^'o]
#3. You k.o., You HP and are out of the race. NO Raises.
#4. No Equipped Linkshells. Yer on your own. so other than tells and passerbys no active form of communication.
#5. No Prism Powders or Silent Oils ^^[New]

The Winner will be the first to make it back to the start position in K. Highlands.

Basically nothing big. Potentially lotsa fun. And the chance to turn 1k guild into 10k.

I'd need people to help and overall People to participate. ^_^
Anyone interested?

I love these little races and tests of evasion and speed. You DO realize that your rules don't disallow use of prism powders or silent oils, right? Or, as a lvl 10 NIN I can use Tonko to be invisible. Food for thought.

I'd be interested, definately.

Added the powders/oils. Good thought on Tonko: Ichi. I've sorta got mixed feelings on it. While I want all skill to be avail that certainly gives the Nin a huge edge. {hmmm} gotta think on that

You could always limit it to the base jobs only: no advanced jobs. That'd even out the playing field quite a bit...especially if that included sub-jobs.

It would be easier to participate if it were for level 1 jobs. We probably all have a level 1 job or a mule with a level 1 job. It solve the issue of some jobs abilities that can give an edge without changing the nature of the race (you die if you get agrroed solo in those places whenever you are 1 or 10 :)

However people with maps will have an edge over people without.

What happens to the extra money if there are more than 10 participants?

Sounds like fun... of course I'd never make it. LOL Navigation is not my strong point!

Something similar was suggested in on of my LS, but I can't remember the details.

yes, having everyone level 1 would be the best way to even out the playing field. This sounds like alot of fun, i would do it ^^

Actually, next Friday Sept. 3rd I was holding a LS event entitled the "End of Summer" event. In it I was going to host many little events, including lvl 1 races to Jueno (who can get the farthest) and a chocobo race around the world (Windy,Jueno,Sandy,Jueno,Bastok) and also other things Ive yet to schedule. Based on the success of these things I was going to allow more non-LS members to join up in the fun.

Ofcourse the races will be winner take all ^^.
