Finally!
Been playing since February and I finally got a job to 40. Yesterday I managed to party my blm half way thru level 40. Now, its time to work on the Warp II scroll. :-\. I also have to get Blizzard II... so if anyone knows where I can buy that, it'd be a big help. I started with an elvaan mnk, war, thf and got a better understanding of the game. Took that understanding and started all over. Still took Nebz 6 months to hit 40. BFD, I level slow... but its cause I don't like sitting in a zone for 30-90 min LFG with no /tells or invites. So I farm... but usually exp farm with lower level jobs, or on easy prey's.
Well, I've got lots of equipment now and ready to get rdm to 40 too ^.^. However, dispel and phalanx are going to be rather expensive... any chance the static party may be willing to BCNM for phalanx?

Congrats on lvl 40 ... If you need a place to buy the Element II spells (like your Blizzard II) check Selbina. Usually the prices there are a lil bit lower than the AHs.
And dont worry about lvling slow. Ive been playing since the release and im lvl 55. Thats what I get for running off to explore rather than lvl up ^^.

yea... I might level slow, but to all those that are amazed at how slow I level are contantly asking me how I make my gil... uhm... its cause I don't party and I farm or quest 80% of the time rather than partying for 80% of the time. It don't bother me cause if I weren't slow, I wouldn't be equipped and battle ready. I'd be missing spells and have level 20 mage armor :-\... so I'm happy I can keep up with the gear and spells at my level.

I have done the one in Giddeus a few times and our setup was:
BRD, WHM, RDM, RNG, DRK (Galka preferably) and THF(me^^).

Wait...when did you start a RDM? I'm confused...I thought you only had a BLM and WHM...
Anyways, I checked to see if you were on off and on all weekend. Didn't see you on once. We didn't do Rank 5 last night - didn't see you on at all to get what time would be good for you. Just send me a /tell in game and we'll work something out.
And congrats on 40. 'bout time you started to catch up. Hurry up and get 8 more levels so your BLM and my RDM can party together.
Edit: I'd gladly help with any BCNM. I'd have to keep my Holy Sword a bit longer, but oh well. I could use the gil.

hey cia, I thought about the rank 5 mission last night, but looked at the LS and it was empty... I mean empty... it was either just Giz (saw tat running around without a pearl) and myself, or just myself. Lately I've been equipping "WeStickTogether" LS and popping back into "TheNameless" off and on. However, I think there's many others doing this too and it is causing TheNameless to fall apart I think. As for rank 5, I'll get it one day... not too concerned.
As for my rdm... I started leveling that months ago when I had to get bastok quest for the warp quest (when my blm was 17... long time ago eh?). There was one quest in which I needed to equip a shell shield (lvl 7 war/rdm/... shield)... so I couldn't use my whm or blm. I was faced with either leveling warrior or red mage at that time. I figured I was a taru, I should do rdm for better support on my character... that and a taru with provoke is just insanity in a box. My RDM has been at lvl 14 for I dunno how long. Long before I got summoner, beastmaster or bard... back before my black mage was 30+.
To catch you up, I have the following jobs/levels:
Krem: 28 monk, 14 war, 13 thief, 8 red mage.
Nebz: 40 blm, 30 whm, 20 rdm, 15 thf, 14 smn, 13 mnk, 11 bst, 1 rng, 1 brd and 1 war. lmao.

congrats nebz! i remember partying with you in yhoator jungle (wish there was the tab on this) and you lvled to 33 ^^
hehe, If I'm not mistaken, that was my 16hr long party rush from lvl 29 to 34. Ended up fighting crawlers in Yuhtunga?
