This is sad. I was always hoping you'd come back. :( Mac and I might be tempted to adopt you but I'd have to talk to him. You are elvaan after all so that makes it a tough sell. :P

If Amber and Mac aren't up for it I can do it as well. I barely play as it is so if you ever want to come back your toon would be untouched. Aside from maybe a little more XP if Attila would log on and punch sh*t with you. We'll miss you Geole.

How long has it been since you last we're paying/logged on yourself? Even if you're not paying, you should have been able to get into PoL at least. That's kinda odd.

That sounds like the time that my 8 year old cousin was visiting me, and he "wanted to play the game with the weird alien guys with red hair." So I tried playing, logged into pol, saw I had 2 messages and tried responding (I think from Ryoh, not sure, not even sure if I was able to reply or not.) Then I couldn't play because of the vista registry @#%^ up, saw I'd have to download and install everything all over again, and convinced my cousin to play KoTOR instead. **edit: no, this is sorta wrong, he visited at christmastime. Didn't even try logging in after that until just this past few days.**

I just saw something in the main forums about keyloggers from ffxiah, but the last time I accessed that was WAY before my cousin visited. Unless they started using them RIGHT as I stopped playing, and it just lay dormant in my machine and survived the reformatting and such, I don't think it could have been anything like that.

edit: oh, and my bank account goes back to the beginning of the year. The last payment must have been before january. Going to check again though...

edit 2: ok, I'm a ditz. My cousin visited for christmas, and unless there's a new christmas in february, my mind is shot, lol. Anyways, that was definitely the last time I was able to get near logging on, at christmas time. And my online bank statements don't go beyond the first of the year so I can't check before that, but definitely no payments to playonline after that point.

There should be a way to recover the account, yes. Hopefully when you get it back your character won't have red hair anymore.

Geole, I can't tell time. The message I sent you was on 12/27/07. :P This year is passing way too fast.

I didnt pay or play for over a year, and i was able to log in like i never left. I did have to call SE to change my password because they changed the minimum number of characters you need for them. I had a seven letter PW. Once the PW was changed thing were normal again even though i started on ps2 and returned on PC.

Well, minor update... Apparently there's no power on earth which will get my character back. The october 5th update screwed me over, since I have to change my password to log in. However, in order to change my password, I need to first log in using my now defective password. I tried contacting SE through the service and support web chat with a representative, on the pol website, but apparently it's just a joke on anyone who tries using it. It brought up a window asking for 3 things: pol ID, real name, and something else that I can't remember. And there's no way to "enter" the information into a line or anything. It's just a pop up window where you type those things in and then you sit there doing nothing because you can't send the %%%% stuff in.

Nah, wasn't the hacker, it's just that I didn't change my password in time. And I tried talking to them through the online web chat thing, but it's really just a cruel joke on us baka gaijin. Here's literally what the web chat pop up window looked like:
