Dynamis Run ScheduleFollow

We are trying out a new calendar established by a moderator on another server to post and negotiate our runs schedules. I prefer an unbiased medium where all linkshells for all servers can post. That way if an incident does occur over a zone, we (Caitsith) can show we have an honor/negotiating system established and a complaint can be filed through POL under Service and Support against the offending ls.

Here is the link to the New Dynamis Forums/Calendar.

It is still a work in progress. I do suggest that all Caitsith Linkshells doing Dynamis runs at least post their run days and times in general so people interested in creating a new Dynamis Linkshell will know what days are pretty full and what days have room for a new Linkshell.

So I don't understand the point of filing a complain with SE. They won't care if there's an 'incident' where two groups want to enter dynamis.

I don't see that complaining to SE will do much good, unfortunately. However, the Dynamis shells that run on Sundays are aware of a certain shell (which will remain nameless here) that will not negotiate with the other groups, and will try to claim zones (particularly northland zones) at times that other groups have arranged to use it. (Happened to Crimson Horizon last week, tried to do it to Crusade this week.)

I applaud Woofie's efforts to minimize confrontations at Dynamis zones, but there will always be individuals who do not want to play well with others.

I could have sworn there was a dynamis calendar already on Arasmas site that has been around forever, but maybe its only for shells that run on those days/times. But if you want to avoid an incident on those days/times you may want to check it as well. I think its www.arasmas.dannit.org

There is already one. I know for a fact that Millennium uses it and we schedule a month in advance.

If you're talking about the same one that Arasmas, vangard, and ding74 use (which can be found on the Arasmas site), then I should point out that it only includes shells that share the same days; Tues and Sat. Other shells don't use it since there's no point. The one woofie has set up seems to be the general one that was mentioned in our endgame sticky at the top.

Yes, that is a good point. But I guess if your dynamis is planning to run on a Tuesday or Saturday you may want to participate in Arasmas calender or at least check it to avoid incidents.

Back when we started negotiating runs (Summer 2006) for the Sunday Linkshells, there were issues with zones. That winter I found an actual Dynamis website for all servers to have the Sunday Linkshells post and negotiate their schedules that winter because it was a lot of work to message everyone your schedule. I chose Dynamis Calendar.com and that worked great until the Admin took it down (this winter) due to lack of time to deal with it. A couple linkshell leaders from my ls and other linkshells told me of a new forum/site made to replace the old one so we are using that.

I did not want to put myself, nor any of the other linkshells leaders in a situation being an admin or moderator of a site when we have a difficult linkshell. Also, a site that is for all servers is more credible than a forum for a set group of linkshells when filing a complaint. I have a procedure I been told to follow when there are incidents with zones. I start with informing them that we are part of a group of negotiating linkshells. I then call a GM and then file a report through POL after the run.

I think it will be the sum of all complaints by the all the linkshell's working together to accurately report each incident of zone jacking/incidents and arguments that will make a difference. I will be interested myself to see what happens. As far as I know, every English speaking linkshell works together but one to peacefully work out zone issues. Either through Arasmas's forums or the ones we use that covers all servers. I have been too busy to follow a lot of things in game the past couple months, so the only incidents I know of have been the ones affecting Sunday linkshells.

The Sunday Linskhells have been negotiating so long, it is an easy, friendly process. If someone has a person who needs a city win, it is easy to find a ls doing the run who can take the member in ftw. If a linskhell needs to redo a weapons Iceland run, we have successfully be able to adjust the schedules so the ls could redo the run over the following weekend while their helpers were still fresh and eager to help. New linkshells often contact me to find out what days have the least dynamis shells running to plan their run dates and get on whatever scheduling process there is. The entire atmosphere of the Sunday runs has changed because we all work together and split things up fairly. We do not have 2 or 3 linkshells trying to get into the same zone at the same time any longer either.

The linkshell's using the Arasmas forums for all the other days do not need to post their schedule on the Server Forums unless they just want to list their run days and times in general so that new linkshells know how full each day of the week is. A link can be put on the Server Forums to Arasmas's site also. One benefit of Caitsith Dynamis Linkshell's posting their runs in general on these forums is when someone looking for a linkshell finds the Server Site and comes to me wondering what linkshell would be best for their rl schedule, I wont have to play match maker for dynamis/hnmls shells. Like if Monday and Friday or Tuesday only are the best times for them to attend dynamis runs.

I do appreciate all linkshell's working together to keep Sundays sane by negotiating schedules and I do appreciate new Dynamis linkshells who join in the scheduling.
