Hmmm I wanna get in on that pup action......

Hah, Seraph is home of the original FullMetalPups. There was Dirtysouth, who retired for Aion. He'd come PUP to Jailor of Love and let his BLM-build automaton do nearly hate free 1K nukes while he said back and napped. We have a couple in our Dynamis linkshell that make it a goal to shame the "real" melee by outparsing them. I've heard lots of happy squeeing from them over the update.

I like the former name better. And that's totally not cuz Bis is first (*wink*) but because I truly think it flows better.

I think we should share our server culture / history with Seraph.

You will be quizzed.

Once upon a time there was a JP mule named Taikobo in S Sandy. He wore a Pumkin Hat whilst kneeling near the AH. That is all you need know.
Once upon another time there was a famous Cook who knew all there was to know about the craft. He sold stuff outside of Sandy Selby for the newbs and n00bs alike. We dare not speak his name.
Once upon a third time there was a genius who read update notes and capitalized on Astral Rings before they became BCNM onry. We dare not even think his name.
Once upon a fourth time there was an ******* who many people got riled up over. He cheated and robbed his way to the top and then got bored and left. We **** on his name. But we can say that one. We spit when we say it. Killuminati
/begindramaI'm a moron

Too lazy to write more. Feel free to add if you guys wanna give them a laugh.

Oh and Arondight has been touching Galka since before they became asexual.

You forgot Infamouskiller! I think that was his name anyway... The Rdm *everyone* loved to hate.

Thanks for taking me down memory lane again Gam... It was an enjoyable trip!

Oh and for clarification's sake.... This is one Galka that escaped the dasterdly deeds of Arondight!

Asked some friends when their linkshells go since their shells weren't listed

I remember all of those Gamion... actually I remember helping number 2 with his royal jelly (was he in number 3's LS for awhile? I think that's when we did that... Can't quite remember those days so well since I was in like 3 different LS within a year ><)

Good times.

Looks like Stars (B) and Dynacore (S) are the only GMT dynamis shells.

The only listed ones, at least. Not much competition for timeslots, although you never know when those crazies from Japan decide to have an impromptu 4am Xarc run...

Yea that guy was smart..hell people could even rely on him..not bother buying beforehand knowing they can get it right on the spot.

Taikobo is memorable because he never moved, never spoke, never anything. He would have another account come and trade him stuff to refill his inventory and he would afk there permanently. He was around god knows how long, long before any NA started playing and probably for 3-4 years after NA's started playing.

P.S. I'm mildly surprised no one on our wacky server has commented on the strikethrough that catwho put through her (him? it's the internet after all.... ^-^) boobs comment...

Wait...I just did, damnit.

When Aron sees this thread he is gonna be so pissed at me, lol.

cuz he touches young galka

[edit] cuz apparently after 5-6 years on this site I am unable to remember how to use an HTML tag properly...

Its her :P I'm a married old housewife, nothing exciting here, but the boobs were how I defeated Usagi in our 2008 Player of the Month showdown (that and Usagi took a picture of his moobs, scarring Pikko for life.) I no longer have that particular avatar since I can't afford premium any more, but I understand it is still floating around if you do a google search . . .

The internet is wonderful in that I found aforementioned topics, yet was also redirected to an craigslist post that someone linked in the same post and am kind of scarred by content of said posting.

I like this thread. It seems to have revived the stale, dank, recessed hole that our server forum had become in recent months.

Hello Bismarck! (I try hard to remember <.>)
I created a mule here today and it seems like a decent place. Character creation dropped me in Bastok mines, and I gotta ask: where are all the galka?! We usually send ours there to work in the mines (though they do escape on occasion). I could smell them, but none were to be found. . .

The Galkas are the overlords on Bismarck. We rose up in rebellion and conquered the entire server. Now Mithras feed us grapes while Tarus act as our foot stools. The entire Hume population was forced to level Dnc to 60 and parade around in full AF to entertain us. The Elvaans... well... someone had to work the mines...

Brosold also does dynamis on wednesdays at 8pm est. Irony that I have had that same dynamis night and time through Iron / Nin and now V-Bs. We generally pick up the areas that other groups don't and usually just are content to doing Tavnasia, which is kind of our specialty and not many other groups do it frequently.

I'm actually starting to think this merger could be pretty cool for both our servers. How does Bismarch usually do in Campaign? On Seraph, Sandy usually has the most controlled areas. Basty and Windy always seem to lag behind for some reason. Maybe we will be able to finally take La Vaule again.

We need more people to campaign in Windy zones here. Usually from 1-4 zones, sometimes 5 if really lucky. Sandy is usually 5-6 every week, and they get 7 every so often. Bastok usually has 4-5, sometimes 6.

I've seen an 8 wave in Meriphataud get ~15 people, while a 1 wave in jugner gets 25-30.

Roundel earrings are import only, and are ~10M+. Terrible.

This thread makes me feel really good about coming to Bismarck. :D

I'm one of the officers of Catwho's Dynamis shell. Career DRG, enthusiastic PUP, casual but decent PLD. My long term goals are to outparse my DRG with my PUP, and then to reverse that with Gungnir. :)

Rentwokay and I will be bringing over the MercenaryCentral assault linkshell, although we won't be changing the website name: http://seraphcentral.net . We're both excited about an extra pool of people who might be interested in climbing the assault rank ladder. I'll post about that after the merger is done and we've all settled in.

(We also used to run Garrisons too, although I'd expect interest in those are probably as non-existant these days on Bismarck as they are on Seraph...?)

Inevitable character name changes are the cost of this, of course, but I think that's really the only downside. We knew there'd be server mergers one day, although this is rather sooner than we all expected. But seeing your posts here, it looks like we're coming to a good place. I'm actually looking forward to it.
