kinda building off LadyRikku's thread about being in the Armed Forces...

Here's a chance for all of you currently enlisted/commisioned people to be known, get some well-deserved props, and get to know each other.

I'm in the US Navy, and am currently stationed at Bangor Subase, WA state.

(Nuc)MM1/SS (E-6) been in for 7 years.

Nice thread idea. I'm not in the armed services but I would like to recognize 2 of our shell mates who are off serving our country:

Kellindil - I believe he serves in the Army, not sure where he's at right now but I thought he was being sent to somewhere sandy. He's a great guy and a lot of fun, the LS is a little less bright with him out.

Rainier - Serving in the USAF, he was last heard from training in Texas and was due to be shipped out to England. He has a very dry sense of humor, not many can match wits with him and leave with any shred of dignity.

Edit:

Adding the following:

Duuude - Serving in the Army National Guard (8 years o.O), stationed in Boise ID. Our master synthesis expert, Duuude can tell you anything you want to know about synthing. He even created the first and original synthing compass.

LazyDude - Serving in the Army for 10 years in Washington DC. I've only had the pleasure of working with him in his old LS InfinateConflict on the Zilart Mission line and a few Genbu battles. Definately a great player:)

Smiley: clap to you guys!

Ft. Irwin, eh? I've heard horrow stories of that place. Closest town is like 40 miles away, and it's called Barstow. Though I heard the name of the town is actually called Barstool. I wonder why?

I use this compass all the time, and never realized he was from this server.

Glad to see we're getting some crossing paths, other than IRAQ.
Kind of what i had in mind with the thread.

Mic and I are also stationed at Ft.Irwin. We're actually in the same squadron and we're we met through our linkshell O.o

I'm going on 2 1/2 years active army; currently in Iraq. So is Mic.

And the closest town is indeed about 40 miles away. It's not that bad once you get used to it. There's a Walmart and Mc.Donalds... >_> Most people go to Victorville for fun; which is about 70 miles away.

Oh yeah, the place is also crawling with desperate mid-age wifes looking for some fun while their husbands are overseas. Just thought I'd share ^_^

My ingame is Ihina.
