Haha! It's true, I should just say that my sense of direction sucks and have that be it. 
I took a wrong turn at Leaping Lizzy yesterday and couldn't figure out how I got into Dangruf Wadi. ^^;;

It's flat, you head in one direction to get out, the other to get in. It's impossible to get lost. And the coolest thing is that if you do manage to get lost, you'd never know it cos it all looks the same anyway ^^
The fact that you can get stuck in potholes and crevices in La Theine (I nearly ghettowarped to get out of that I can tell you!) and you have to negotiate round a completely unnecessary cluster of cliffs in Tahrongi Canyon right outside the zone to Sarutabaruta make me hate Sandy and Windy with a passion.
Windy especially. Once you cross Tahrongi's unnecessary cliffs and Saruta, you are faced with a city that was designed by a monkey on crack! The nation's embassies are in totally seperate areas, and everything is so far spaced out, I need to stop for lunch travelling between the mog house and the AH. One area is so far spaced out (with nothing of interest in it I might add!) it needs 2 maps!
Not to mention the area names leave you with no clue as to what to find within. Windurst Woods?! The whole fekkin town is in the woods! With the exception of Port Windurst I have no clue where I'm going.
Drunk and stupid people that are used to Bastok (Bastok MINES, Bastok MARKETS, PORT Bastok) like myself need this crap spelled out for them.

Hopefully the person I tried to help last night doesn't feel bad about this, cause both times it was just my bad luck.

La Theine sucks so bad. I died so many times there as a nooblet, trying to get to Sandy and falling down some bloody ditch or another, and getting lost and stuck until an aggroing orc ate me.
Everyone seems to get lost in Bastok. I really don't see why, they just do.

You might try setting it to Quartermaster, if that's the rules you're using.
Leveling BLM to 17 so you can sub BLM and Warp back to town when fishing. Then going out to your fish spot, fish for 3 hours and notice your 49 bst/blm is 8 MP short of casting Warp.

My contribution: When you're using Ventrilo or Teamspeak and everyone is happily chatting away until somebody gets pissed for some reason or another. Then everyone is afraid to say anything for fear of setting whoever is pissed off even more and things are really tense for a while. :( This seems to happen way too much. And it makes me sad.

This goes both ways. I am tired of listening to ppl using the "Skillz > Equipment > Race" tirade. Some ppl kept trying to use their "skills" to justify their horrible race/job combo. They always assume that no one could play their jobs right. Therefore their crappy job/race combo is ok, because they got the "skillz".
No matter how good you are or what kind of godly equipment you have, you'll never beat another player with the same skill and equipment as you but with a better race choice.
Someone might have a galka mage. That's hardwork. This does not in anyways show that Galka mage comes even close to a Taru mage.
If you can't admit that Taru mage > Galka Mage, you've got issues.
