hehe this happend to me awhile back when i first bought ffxi. i FINALLY got the date of my dreams with this football hunk and i tell him im sick so i can stay home and play ffxi. (yes true story.. this game consumes your life)
also when we were talking i whent to laugh at one of his jokes and i said "lmao" insted of "haha" OMG a night mare ; ;

hehe i find this funny, but then again its just me....
i was driving home and saw a cab, u know the kind with the 3-sided advertisement on top. well i couldnt see one of the advertisements closest to me becuz of the angle of it. so i put my right turn signal on(i tried to <t> the cab) so i could read it better. wen i realized wut i did i just started laughing, and my friends thought i went nuts.

1) Logging on in the morning, then wondering why you're logged on.
2) Skipping class so you could go home and give a crystal to your plants.
3) Explaning why you have to steal log points to your friends and family.
4) Logging on just to see what time it is in game, then calculating when it'll be lightsday.
5) Refering to people as "n00b".
6) Scared of little kids, thinking they'll cast flood on me (bad BCNM40 experience).

Saw Kirin beer on the menu at a sushi place and immeditly began looking for four other good beers to drink to get to the Kirin beer.
Attempted to trade the four other beer caps for the full kirin beer (ok...not really...but I thought it was a fun idea!)
Called in sick because I'd miss a full moon and wanted to up my crafting.
Asked a friend half way through a long work night if she'd like to Escape us for a smoke.
Being offered pie at a diner and responding with "No thanks, I'm not a mage"
Asking about the +1 versions of computer parts (never talk to a sales rep while looking at AH prices)

you are trying to go to sleep after a very good exp party and you hear the music from the game and its not on.
also when you see a person youd ont like and start hearing the fight music! i hate it make it stoppp!

when you turn down drugs cause your static pt will be on in ten minutes and you have to get home soon
when you see your new nephew from your sister,(that you didnt even know was pregnate)... i swear im not makeing that one up
when you start associateing holidays with moogle events, IE christmas, the trees in towns,... holloween, you think about the horror head instead of pumpkins
when your pot headed friends, and tweeker friends say to you "maaan... you got a problem... you need to get help, your a freakin addict".... referring to the game

As you're trying to fall asleep at night, you can't get your mind off of what your plans are the next day in game. Forget grocery lists...I'm making equip lists.

When you know you have to leave the house in 5 minutes to go to work in the morning, but Beseiged is now LVL 5 and advancing, so you call into your boss and tell him you over slept and will be a little late....
I didn't miss Beseiged, I did it this morning, got to work 9 minutes late and only got 476 exp out of it, LOL. Oh well, Besieged > Making a Real Living

A family member gets sick and you think what it would be like to actually have "Viruna"....
When you wish you could just set your HP at home.. so when you go out and you get tired, you can just "warp" home. (c'mon I know everyone has thought that)
When you wish Chocobos were real and you could keep one in your back yard.
... and my favorite...
When your boss asks you "So how did your party session go last night? Did you get your artifact gear?"
(when she knows NOTHING about FFXI - only what I have told her about the game at lunch time, and she actually shows an interest in what I do and asks tons of questions) (mind you, I work for a medical board, so this is a pretty small office)

The amount of times I've hit ctrl+R to reply to somebody, or quit chatrooms cause I pressed Esc thinking it would just delete my line of text >.>; Silly habits.
I've even called my boyfriend by his player name a few times, and he's said to me.. "meet you at the crag of.. I mean town >.>;"
I use a notepad as my mousemat, it's a more convenient way of keeping my lists of crafting recipes in one place.
I haven't gotten to bed before 6am all this week 'cause of this game. It gets you bad.

My BF just told me his "addicted when moment"
He said he was walking outside in the morning to go to work when he suddenly realized he hadn't put up his shadows (he is a lvl 75 nin) and he kept walking thinking nothing of it till he actually got in the car and realized what he had just thought. He came home and said he played FF too much *lol*
