New player, Looking to make some friends and a LSFollow

Hello everyone. Kind of a new player. (Played eons ago for a while) however quit when school began to get too time intensive along with this game. However since I have no idea about my old information I'm starting fresh and looking for some people to play with. I'd like to say i'm picking up information about the game on my own quite well but a helping hand here or there would also be incredibly appreciated as well.

LS means linkshell - the group chat channel that allows people in the same LS to speak just to each other.

Thank you! I would also love to join a LS then, but how do I go to do that? I'm having a lot of trouble with the game like figuring out whats going on and how to do quests.
