Old dog seeks social LS!Follow

Hello Asura forums!

Friend and I started back into FFXI after a 5 year hiatus ( Had to finish the B.A., and yes, it took 6 years :P ), grabbing new characters and beginning again as complete newbies. It has been rather fun, and the Asura community is wonderful. We are seeking a social LS to chat with while we grind away happily in this brave new world (Leveling is so much better now!)

When I last played, the usual way to join an LS was in XP/event parties, where they could see your play-style and attention to detail before offering an invite. Nowadays, there seems to be far less XP parties and less people in general over in the old zones, and from scanning the forums, it looks like the main way recruitment is done is either application to an endgame/focused type of LS, or posting here looking for social shells in what could almost be a personals ad : P

Long story short: Im a tall, hairy Galka who loves long walks on the beach and is planning on being a WAR or MNK (Ex 75 BLM from Ramuh) main. My friend is a short, tiny Taru who likes Southern Comfort and is a dedicated mage (ex BLM from Ramuh, plans on BLU)

If you have a mature, social LS drop me a line sometime! We don't need a lot of help as a duo, and we don't shed all over your couch and drink all your beer.

I apologize for not posting this under the "Returning Player" thread but it seems like that thread is all applicants, with the few sackholders being rather overwhelmed with responses from many returning players.

talk to wint. Lootwhorindramafest is pretty fun :) some of us may be a little more friendly to drunken tarus...(good thing he has a galka friend because he might find himself in clown shoes, a pink tutu and sporting rope burn....)
