I sincerely hope that this idea does not break any Allakhazam rules, if it should please just nuke the thread.


I propose that we who use these forums and play in Asura make this a thread in which to sell and purchase items, supply assistance (for those mercenaries), and sell those high level trade skill abilities.

When i say sell i mean : Sell items, etc. in game for gil only!! Not for actual money. This could be mutually beneficial for many people and may help some people find those rare items, or that uber mercenary they need, and save some gil or make a quick sale.


I ask that when you make a post on here, you simply say what you are selling, the price (can specify or say taking offers, or best offer etc.), say when you will be on, or when you usually play. The person interested in buying said item or skill, need not reply on this forum if interested, simply send person private message through this site, or send a tell in game.

Responsibilities:
Sellers should come back to this thread after their listed item has sold, and edit their post to simply read SOLD <date>. If you are requesting the aid of a crafter or mercenary, please edit your post to say mission completed, item made, etc.

***Please when selling change font color to red, and when sold, edit post and make large font, green color, saying sold. If u are seeking to buy something, please use yellow font***

Rundown:

Red font = Sell
Green font = Sold /dead post
Yellow font = Wanting to buy

Please:
Don't bash people's prices or turn this into a flame thread for any reason. If you list an item for a certain price,don't play greed mongrel and change price on people if they send you tell wanting it (unless of course you made an obvious typo). Feel free to leave buyer feedback if you really feel its important to.


I really think this could be very helpful the Asura community, and a nice tool for crafters, players and mercenaries, our economy seems to be booming, so let's make this work.


My example and real post of items for sale:

SELLING: 1 mannequin head, 1 pair of mannequin legs, 1 pair mannequin feet
ASKING PRICE: 250k for all 3, OBO
WILL BE IN GAME: Friday 10/22/04 after 6pm EST to 2am or so
Comments: Take a look at the mannequin assembled on the missions and quests forum.

I'll throw this down then:

BCNM40 bard for hire.

groups with (some) experience please. meaning 2-3+ should have done this fight already.
I will never have an orb. Payment / loot is based upon group. If you want to do a static payment that's fine, or some kind of split of the dropped loot. Terms to be discussed in game I suppose.
I have filler people for any position that are also be willing to join if you cannot field enough people but still want to go.

Gobbie Bag Materials.

I can make all leather and cloth items for GB 1-5. while they aren't the biggest savings over AH, it's probably around 800-2k savings per item. Ask me at a given time what materials I have and what I would require to make the item, as a lot of times I have enough materials to make some items.

so also this goes in Asura's crafters thread, but I am leather 60, cloth 53. If you need anything crafted /tell me in game, i've already had a few requests for Mocassins (WHM AF boots item) when the AH was sold out.

Well would you prefer i just make a post like the one a few below and just straight up ask for help? So many people beg and pleed for help, spend weeks doing so, and get JACK. I for one am also sick of having to badger my friends or LS mates when I need help with something. If they say sure no problem, I usually have to wait 3 weeks of daily asking to actualy get the help due to different schedules, their own in game goals, etc. If they say no, I'm just as screwed.

Should I make a post asking 6 random lvl 70 strangers to just help me cuz they have nothing better to do? Nah that might work 3 months from now if I'm lucky. What I think I did was just give 100k (yes only 100k as i only have around 200k and I will live if i never get the mitts) reasons why if some group was already going to do this they would maybe remember me and take me along for the ride.

Please don't criticize people's prices or offers on here on here no matter how goofy you think they are. I know you were just commenting, and not harshly at all, but just send me a tell or PM if you're a lvl 70+ player even capable of helping me and need price clarification.

I'm lovin how we are really using this, just a reminder though, to make it real easy just to skim down the scroll bar and check stuff out daily, please use:


Rundown:

Red font = Wanting to Sell
Green font = Sold /or a dead post, used to edit your sale
Yellow font = Wanting to buy
Orange Font = Group activity needed or free items


This way we can avoid threads like: thanks for the post, you'll never get help for that amt of gil offered, ill get ahold of ya in game, etc. (which it really would be sweet if you sent PM for this via allah) I have a feeling this thread may grow to several pages soon, so font color would make it easier on everyone.


***BTW I'm still rating everyone that posts up, for participating, if we all do this, we can have another friendly rate boost thread on Asura server forum.***

Just a comment for anyone considering Ninerman/ happygilmore 's offer, I had the pleasure of Newt fishing with him last night, and it was my first time chatting with him. He was very easy going, and a nice guy. So if you're thinking on helping on helping someone out and making yourself a cool million in the process, I would say help happy and you will not spend the camping time annoyed by some prick. I hope happy gets the help he needs as he seems like a good guy.
