So, I have been gone from the game for awhile, enjoyin' life, playing other MMO's.
and I just cant have fun with any other MMO than this one... >=/
I love this game haha.
anyway, I'm coming back, with probably a whole new account, and everything...
and my question is, how strong is alexanders econemy, and player base?
lots of people that like to level low-mid levels?
and...
are they all social and easy to deal with, or is this a server filled with WoW'like bad grammar kiddies =(
as for the econemy, is everything screwy, or is everything generally low at price, and is farming and getting gil easy to handle.

Hi!
Well there's alot of questions you've asked and I'm not the most intelligent FF player out there and due to the fact that I migrated from Bismarck haha I don't know a whole heck of a lot about Alexander. I think its all pretty much the same. Regardless, Welcome back to the game we all love! :D

I'm not the best with numbers so I couldn't really comment much on the economy, it is what it is lol. As far as the playerbase though, Alexander is still pretty active. I imagine you'll run into annoying players with horrible spelling and grammar once in awhile, but I doubt it's much different server to server. I've met more fun and intelligent players than WoWish ones in my couple of years here.
People are still leveling in the Dunes and Qufim, etc, plenty of lower level folks out there and with level sync it's become easier to find parties. Hope you enjoy coming back^^

please check http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/campaign/wcb/ (that's the Return Home to Vanadiel event from SE) as you may be able to recover your old account/characters and save a lot of headache levelling.
As for economy and player base... The player base is ok, not as strong as some other servers but for the most part I've only ever come across 2 people in the past several months that I've wanted to blist and there've been a number of helpful folks around. On top of that it's not as overcrowded as some of the other servers so you actually have a CHANCE to get some things done that would be nigh impossible on a more crowded server. Econ wise, it's not out of control but I've seen better.
There are folks at all level ranges many are simply 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc jobs but it still means a variety to level with and with level sync it's even easier to get along.
