Lucy item downloads :: World of Warcraft

Hello,

I downloaded the item number to item name reference file from Lucy (the itemlist.txt.gz file which is updated daily). The item numbers start at 1001, but some items (such as low level spell scrolls) are lower than 1000.

Is that intentional, or can the file be changed to include the items below 1000?

For some reason, I'm unsure about, it's now using the Lucy IDs, which do not go lower than 1001. It used to use the Alla IDs (as well as the Lucy ones?), and is probably why you're thinking they went lower than 1000 (which they start at 1, iirc). They may have done it that way, since you can make Lucy links hover now as well as Allakhazam ones.

I think you are right.

It's a bit confusing between the two systems, plus also the difference between a spell and an item. The one I was looking at was the spell Tashina. There is spell data for it, but there is no item for the scroll itself. It turns out that the name of the scroll you buy (item "Spell: Tashan") turns into the spell Tashina (a different but similar name) which has a Lucy ID under 1000 (in the spells section rather than items).

When I searched, I didn't see it moved from the items data to the spells data.

Integration of the three (EQB, EQ, Lucy) is slowly happening. I hope to have the two non-lucy sites done by next week. Sorry for confusion
