Wombats went on strike, killing the hamsters because they wouldn't support them.

Scab gerbils have been brought in until the labour dispute is settled and more hamsters can breed.

Side note:

Your HTTP 500 error page says "Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error."

ServerAdmin isn't set to reflect the correct address. I assumed that this may have been intentional, but just in case it wasn't, I thought I'd point it out.

I tried to send an email to webmaster@localhost and it didn't work. Smiley: frown

It's a setting in Apache, if I recall correctly, that sets the value. The default value is webmaster@localhost unless you change it.

I could be wrong about it being in Apache config; it's been a while since I've played with it.

EDIT: And a lot of site admins will intentionally -not- put an email address there just because they don't want to be bothered by lusers.

Yeah, i know it can be changed, but i don't think i've ever actually seen an error page with anything else listed.

That's probably because, as I said in the edit, a lot of site admins really don't care to have lusers emailing them.

Otherwise you end up with this.

^^^ That

I already have multiple irc and private messages, SMS and email alerts when a server goes down. I don't need spam from users telling me stuff a few dozen other things have already told me.

If we keep it as webmaster@localhost, you just laugh and make fun of us. If we give users a functioning email address, then they get all upset if you don't respond.

Solution: Set it to Godraiden's email address for the entertainment of everybody.

And let's not forget the users that add on the "Oh, and as long as I'm emailing you, could you..."

I've debated setting Outlook to a permanent out-of-office autoreply of "If you haven't put in a ticket, I'm going to ignore your email."
