Wowhead is working fine for me. I'll post a link to your post over on wowhead's feedback forum for one of their admins to look at. Until then, they'll find information on your browser helpful(Which browser and what build number), most likely, so I'd post it. If you're using a browser with addons, list the ones you use as well. Screenshots would also help.

I am using I.E 7.0. (version 7.0.6) I don't use 8.0 as the Data Protection Errors drive me nuts and prohibit using so many websites. I also disabled all the addons, nothing changed. I am just not sure what happened, it was working perfectly for me yesterday. the only change I made was to do the cataclysm early purchase from wow (the digital one). It pre-downloads the game. That has completed, but nothing else changed.

Can you post a screenshot of what's happening?

If the page doesn't finish loading, refreshing it usually works for me. Also if you want an alternative to Internet Explorer (because know Microsoft they will eventually force you to switch to from IE7) I recommend either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

If that doesn't help, one of the Wowhead staffers should have a suggestion at some point today.

What is happening is that it looks like wowhead loads. I could even say search on an achievement such as insane in the membrane and see the criteria list. But I can't see any other information. No comments, no maps for items that include maps. Nothing else. I am getting a page error that says "page template is null or not an object" where you normally see the words Done down in the lower left hand corner. I am not having any trouble with any other website.

I'd suspect you got a bad cache, or your ISP may for one reason or another be blocking wowhead. Try dumping your browser cache, history, cookies in whatever internet browser you use, then press Ctrl+refresh while trying to load wowhead and see if that helps. If not, you may need to contact your internet service provider.

I actually did do that. I had searched the internet for some info on the error message and that is what they recommended but it didn't change anything. I don't understand why all of a sudden my ISP would block wowhead and the error message I get doesn't seem to be something that would indicate it's not getting through. Especially since I can do a search and some information is retrieved, just none of the comments or detail information comes back.

Well, the site is up, so either its being blocked somewhere between the server and yourself, or it is being blocked on your end for some reason. Maybe some script / ad blocking / firewall software on your computer is turned up a bit too high, or maybe there is an issue with your computer that a cache dump alone didn't fix

Okay, guess I am stuck then. I haven't changed any firewall settings or done anything with my router or computer etc. Really to bad, as I used the site a lot.

You're not alone, this happened to me as well, just download a different browser, it worked for me.

Malgayne from Wowhead here, Draknorr just directed me to your post.

It sounds like what has happened is somewhere between your system and ours, your browser has cached some bad javascript. If testing Wowhead in another browser works properly, then we can be almost sure that's the issue.

My initial recommendation would be to try a "hard refresh". Most browsers do this by pressing Ctrl-F5, but you can sometimes also do it by holding Shift and clicking the Refresh button. If that doesn't fix it, then we'll need to do a deeper diagnostic—try opening up your error console, and posting a screenshot of the error?

I'm having the same problem myself, and it started at the same time.

The screen looks like this http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/2434/wowheadproblem.jpg

I've copied the errors I'm getting below. If anyone can help me fix this then it would be much appreciated.

Webpage error details

This definitely is related to JavaScript. The page itself seems to load fine in Firefox, Chrome, and IE 9, but breaks when I turn on compatibility mode in IE 9. This points to an issue with older, less-compliant versions of IE. We'll take a look at hacking the page in older browsers so it renders properly.

We just pushed a fix for this issue live. It should look a little better in IE 7 now, although you may have to clear your cache.

Awesome, its all looking great again for me now :)

(And actually I'm using IE8 which I think is the current non-beta version).
