You need to add a disclaimer or more information to this web page: http://ffxiv.zam.com/en/serverstatus.html

The servers may be online and verified by PING, but that does not mean that they are currently working. When trying to log in you receive the following message: 13001 The lobby server has encountered a error. Error code 1015. Status 0.

Currently Square Enix is experiencing a lobby server issue where no one can log in. Your web page is nice, but really doesn't help if people cannot log in.

To be fair, this is just after a scheduled maintenance and it is really Square Enix's fault that they do not have a server status page for players.

The only way to really confirm something like a bugged login server is to load up XIV and try it, which unfortunately isn't a viable way for us to test for the server status page. But bugs like that are (generally in the MMO world) rare, so hopefully they won't have similar problems in the future.
