Not sure how long it has been this way and I only use site for FFXI so can not say if this menu or issue exists in others. When I mouse over the "database" menu at top I get the first menu drop down no issue. However when I then mouse over "areas" for example it again pops a menu but is straight down and covers the first menu and if I try to mouse down to anything in this second layered menu it just closes the 2nd and continues to show menus for the first, all of which are dropping straight down and have same issue.

At the time I noticed this I had browser running in a window, thought maybe a space issue but same occurred in full screen. I am running Firefox 3.6.8

I did have noscript set to to block, I only allow scripts when I go to post a message and as a temp. When I do allow scripts the menu is working differently. Presumably the way the menu is working with script is allowed is the correct way the site has been coded.

You need the scripting on for it to work as intended. However, even without scripting, if you select any base database menu, the first menu will appear on the horizontal bar, with the sub-menus properly appearing and clickable beneath them.

For example, if you click mouse over Database, then click Areas, all of the Database menu items appear horizontally: * Areas * Bestiary * Crafting * Items & Equipment * Jobs * Quests & Missions, and you can click on mouse over any of those to get their first sub-menus, and mouse-over for sub-sub-menu items.
