editing posts in banned threads.Follow

Second time i've seen this happen now.

I just posted in this thread before it was locked, then went to edit my post, but vlor already banned him, so i got the cannot post in locked threads message. I then went back to my live view in another tab, and tried to edit it again, and was able to. After which the thread came back, and was unlocked/nuked.

The previous time it happened, iirc i was already in the middle of editing my post when it was banned. I want to say the thread was actually still locked, but i was just able to edit my post anyway that time, though i can't be 100% sure. After ~5 minutes, i was no longer able to edit it (the recent one is still up 9 minutes later, unlocked/nuked. edit: it stayed open 20 mins, until usagi renuked it, so not sure if that's what happened the first time and i just didn't pay enough attention to realize the thread was actually unnuked, or if something different happened).

Under certain conditions the thread lock portion of a ban can fail to occur. It happens sometimes.

It did nuke the thread like it's supposed to though, it just still let me edit my post, after which it unnuked itself.

Also, i've never once seen that happen until the last two times, when i tried to edit a post i had made. Once ever would be one thing, but twice in a row under similar circumstances can't be a coincidence.
