It may just be me needing new glasses (these are only 5 months old) but I cannot see some of this stuff any longer.
For instance, just on this page alone, [Premium users can use graphical smilies.] on the left side above the posting space is so tiny that I had to lean forward & squint.
I don't know if you're just trying to make room for ad space or what, but if I can't read the posts or links to click, I surely won't be coming to the forums much at all.

Possibly you've accidentally zoomed out, because none of the font has changed at all for me.

I've never touched the zoom function, so it wasn't accidentally done. I did so now & it helped.
I still think they're planning something with all that empty space on the right.
No, I'm not paranoid.

I've got at least 2" of solid empty colors on the right. Until a few months ago, the forums were all centered.
That's when I noticed the shrinking fonts, too.

Forums are still centered for me, and the font sizes haven't changed.

What skin (ffxi. wow. etc) are you using and what browser?

I use the brown/gold Warcraft skin, and the blue FFXIV skin. White generic skins make me reach for sunglasses.
I use Mozilla Firefox.
