Why do I have scroll bars on the website now, when I never had them before?

I see that too with IE7. Whenever I load a page now, it looks like the page has a split screen. Once the thread list loads, the top portion expands down. I dont know if this is because of the weird bottom pop-up ad that loads from the bottom of the screen that I have been getting every now and then.
