Messages skipped by Filter.Follow

With the trolling issues this morning and yesterday, the forum pages have noticably dwindled in size (Yes, I know why, messages skipped, etc.)

I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that if a whole topic is skipped by filters, that you could still make the correct number of posts and/or threads appear on the page?

Say 40 threads were nuked and are now skipped, and you have it set to 50 topics per page, couldn't it just move on and display the next unfiltered message on the same page? That way we don't just see 2-5 threads per page for the first 5 pages when stuff like this happens?

Edit:
I notice that Sticky posts don't count towards the total thread limit displayed on the page. Maybe something similar to either nuked threads or threads under filter settings.
