#1 Aug 25 2007 at 6:31 PM Rating: Good
i'm getting emails with messages like this in my spam box several times a day, there's a little extra attachment to it, but it looks to be formatting and junk, i seem to have started recieving them around the time i upgraded membership, any clue what it is?

Spam detection software, running on the system "db.allakhazam.com", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or label
similar future email. If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.

Has nothing to do with us. Adware like to mask their addies to make it look that way. You prolly got some sort of bug in your system that is sending your "favorite sites" over to some add company and thus getting e-mails from what looks like us, but isn't.

I remember sometime ago, I recieved spam from "admin@allakhazam.com"

Smiley: dubious

From the looks of it, someone's trying to send spam to his Alla e-mail and you guys are running a spam filter on things that pass through those.

I mean, I don't believe I've ever heard of a spammer that included "this is what our spam filter said" stuff in their e-mails, especially when the included spam filter calls the rest of the e-mail spam! Smiley: laugh

Exactly right, someone is sending email to your @allakhazam.com account, and our server which does the forwarding is running a spam filter for you.
