WoW Reader Issue and Windows VistaFollow

I'm posting here since I don't seem to get a repsonse on the WoW Reader forum thread.

I have a new PC with Windows Vista and I get the following message when I try to run the Reader:

Error writing wowreader.exe: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\WoWReader\_wowreader.exe' is denied.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Thanks

Are you logged in as an adminsitrator or running the application as an administrator? Vista has a lot of new security requirements for applications that XP didn't have, such as not being able to write to the root of C and whatnot.

Also, you might want to right click the wowreader.exe or whatever it's called, choose properties and then check the permissions (I think this is the correct way to access them in Vista). If you don't have the user group you are assigned to listed, you can run into this issue. I'd suggest making sure both Administrators and Users are listed at the least, your account name should be listed in at least one of them. Also, you may want to make sure the groups that are listed (Administrator, Users, Power Users etc) have their permissions set to full access instead of just read only.
