Due to lack of interests of the allakhazam staff and negelticing everything that all other communities allakhazam or not have on allah's section of the site simply put, in total displacement and disarray.
We've asked for mission database so the folks can update it themselves and help out with buildinga strong community because we all know how lame eve info is with month old missions not even around anymore.
We've asked for a fourm division just for ships so we can share oure advice.
we've asked for trade industry sections and no avail along with a few other such as allaince and pvp parts of the eve fourm but its understandable as the current lack of interest doesnt warrent it
We've asked for alittle attention with the eve reader and got nothing.
The news hasnt been updated for this section at all so in the end this area is dead deader than most omber asteroids in eve are.

Sure, but as a loyal user of Allakhazam for EQOA, EQ, EQ2, FFXI, and WoW, I have a certain affinity for the site. I would like to see the Eve site expanded upon.

We currently lack an Eve site administrator. I don't know where the hireing process is on that one, But if you are active in the Eve community and have time, maybe send in your resume or something?
I don't play Eve myself, so I do not know the status of anything related to that game unfortunatly.

I'd be alright with Kast as an admin. Dispite popular belief in the OOT, he's a pretty level headed guy. Well, I think so anyway.
Our Eve site is in the same position as Vanguard. CCP refuses to acknowedge we exist and blocks all links to us in their forums. Unfortunately, unlike with Sigil who was hostile from the start, CCP initially was very friendly with us and offered to help us develop the site, so we poured probably a couple hundred hours of development time into the site only to be cut off and banned from the official forums. Rather than keeping on wasting good money on a bad site, the site has basically been left to rot. Really, if they hadn't led us on from the start, we would never have developed that site to begin with, as it is hard to develop a new site for an existing game without the help of the game developer. With almost no traffic to speak of and no interest from CCP, I doubt much more will be poured into the site. The shame of it is that two of our developers are huge Eve players and really want to put more time into that site.
Sorry to have to say that, but I don't see us ever putting much more into the Eve site.

Could they not do it themselves if they felt like it? I'm just looking for options here. I'm sure you're well aware that I'm a very frequent user here at Allakhazam. Like I stated before, I was given a link for this site in EQOA, and then expanded my use to the various games I am playing/have played. I would LOVE to see the Eve site expanded, and would be willing to contribute in whichever ways that I can.

I fix stuff on the EVE site sometime on my own time, stuff that I use, but other than that I'm too busy elsewhere =/

Could it be possible to kind of make the EvE forum open ended? Like where anyone could in theory, put up content? I know that would be a bit of a crapshoot because you never know when people will post some crap but for users like Kast it would at least give them a small chance to keep that forum alive. Or on life support for that matter.

Personally, I'd like to see some kind of quest DB. Ore information. An expanded ship/item DB. Even an agent locator at some point. Eve is a massive game, and I certainly wouldn't expect these things to be added overnight. Even if CCP doesn't want to be cooperative, there are still ways to get the information you need.

Again, it's just the time involved. I putter on it occasionally too to fix some quick things up but it's all personal time.

No, I saw it, but I don't think it's enough. Wiki, oftentimes, is horribly inaccurate due to how it acquires its data. I'd love to see a WoW reader type of plug-in for Eve. And I'm not talking about a market watcher like the current Eve Reader.
