Linking WoW Items Follow

Forgive me for asking what I'm sure should be easy for me to find, but what is the markup for linking an item in WoW (not just [link ]Item[/link ], but so that it has the popup)? I checked the Markup Help window, and have tried to find a sample in several posts, but with no success.

I feel like a noob.
