OP tries to come off sounding as if he's posting with the intention of starting a flame thread on the character being sold, but since they only have 1 post I'm guessing it's a poorly disguised advert to their characater's auction on ebay.

Bamminate?

If this is all it took to get an account banned, I could ban anyone I wanted by spending a dollar posting a vacuous eBay auction.

Picture proof of you selling the account + Proof you own the account is enough to get someone banned

Some of the pics on their is stuff you couldn't get w/o being on the account.

And yet, it doesn't seem to happen.

And yet, I could find similar screenshots just by cruising threads on Alla (or even more easily, somewhere like KI that has frequent embedded screenshots in threads), and it wouldn't make me the owner of the account.

Again, there's nothing in that auction that couldn't easily be faked by someone with a grudge. I've no doubt that the action in genuine, but this is definitely one of those cases where SE's policy of requiring rather strict evidence makes sense. For about ten dollars I could ban a dozen Alla regulars if I wanted, if an auction like that one were sufficient.

You could possibly find half that info on a single person. Very hard to get that many pics on single person. I reported it and got the typical "We'll look into it.. blah blah blah" I dunno.

Argument about In-Game ban aside, I'm sure you could get them banned with Ebay, at the very least.
